The normal rooms, when I went there were about 800$. I didn't booked the presidential suites as they were too much for me. Nevertheless, the standard rooms are amazing, from the food to the service, and the hotel can also provide you transportation facilities for sightseeing in the city.
5 stars from me and my family.

This Bhawan is just amazing. Everything is beautifully made and designed. I had been there with my guests, as its restrictive for public. Must see specially in evening hours. Proudly and truly Indian property.....
In case someone is wondering, the presidential suite here costs ₹8.8 lakh or around $11900 per night
Jay Shah can easily afford this...Politicians sons can easily afford became all the expense of Politicians are brone by around 120cr population

Been to this place a decade ago ... Umaid bhavan palace is definitely a Royal palace and as tourist couldn't see the entire place then. After NickYankas wedding felt as if I didn't see the place at all...

I have stayed in most luxury hotels in the world.I never ate fully with satisfaction and slept without worries.The greatest sleep I had is in a road when no hotels are there and the greatest food is when i get without money.life is beautiful
And this palace was built by Maharaja Umaid singh ji to help thousands of farmers during drought. Unlike today's leaders who just make fool of farmers with promises like loan waivers.

Such a beautiful palace! Reminds us of the times of Kings and Kingdoms. It looks immaculate on the outside. I just wish they had done a better job with the interior. The Presidential suit doesn't reflect anything from it's times. The brightly colored walls make it look very mediocre.

we were invited there by the maharaja himself as part of a group from my boarding school which was his old school too (Eton college in the uk) - we got to see the private parts too only one wing is the hotel most of it is still private.
the suites aren't that great. Its good but not that extravagant to be called the best in the world. It just has magnificent exteriors.

@Ashita you are right....there are much better hotel rooms out there in the world with awesome views.... Umaid Bhavan is a "hyped place"...and good for those people who care too much about history and this and that. but If you want to enjoy your stay then there are better options out there.
If you personally visit the palace than your opinion will not be the same. This video doesn't give any of the royal vibe...
