I just want to mention that people were accusing them of baseless things like copying another idol’s hairstyles, outfits, props used in their music videos and even a damn FONT, Not over actual music. Bts credited every music they sample and it does not sound like other kpop groups.
Now every group want to start “writing” about self love, mental health and social conscious topics. Not that that’s wrong but a lot of them use it as a concept and move on to whatever is trendy and it doesn’t feel sincere at all.
I recommend you to watch their debut song No More Dream it really shows that even from the start their song is already 🔥

i was 16 when i first discovered bts, i'm 18 now and the last 2 years were the happiest in my life so far. i literally can't describe what the boys mean to me, i just can't. they taught me so many important things, i became braver because of them, i'm more open-minded now, and i'm still learning to love and accept myself more. the relationship between army and bts is amazing. they can't thank us enough and we can't thank them enough. as an army i can say: they really really love us, they always try to give us the best & i never felt so loved in life. watching these "nobodies to legends" videos always make me cry, they deserve every award, they deserve all the success & love and i'm more than proud of them.
so yeah becoming an army is a great decision, go for it you won't regret it :D
You should watch their 2019 MMA performance. INCREDIBLE 37 minutes of pure talent. It's a really long performance, but every second of it is just amazing

So I cried but I always do when watching these kind of videos.
Anyways those lights you saw are called ARMYBOMBS and it’s the official BTS lightstick. It’s a thing in Kpop where groups have a lightstick their fans can buy and bring to the concert, and I know that you can synchronize the armybombs but I don’t know about other groups. Don’t know much about lightsticks tbh.
Also the song where Jin sang “I’m the one I should love” is Jins solo epiphany.
Also I know that you are still learning about them and listening to their music, but I feel like you should at some point react to ARMYs songs to BTS. They are called global army song to BTS 2018 and there is also a 2019 version, and then there is this love is bulletproof and I purple you.

They were saying "Bangtan Sonyeondan" which is their full name *B*ang*T*an *S*onyeondan making BTS. It basically means bulletproof boyscouts which was explained in the video
RM spoke to ARMY during the Persona debut and said, get behind BTS and we will protect you. So, when Journalists start to put us down or saying that because we are female fans and that we are "crazy", he will stop them and say, our fans are the most "enthusiast" and the way he says it to the journalist, It's as if he is saying back off Jack, this is my family. Male sports fans can paint their bodies with their team colors, over serve themselves, scream & yell supporting their teams but the moment a female does this for a pop idle, they are considered crazy! BTS love us for what we have given them & they always tell us how much they love us & have told us how thankful they are to us. We walk hand in hand with them at least until we reach the top.

An ARMY once said BTS comes in your life at the right time. They truly are changing lives and they themselves changed with us as well. Thank you for being an inspiration as well to just pursue loving ourselves. BTS has been such a motivation to speak myself and chase my dreams, which is why I love when reactors get to this video. I was up until 630-7am watching their 2018 award show and although I couldn't understand what was being said you could feel the shock radiating through the crowd when Jin said that they had talked about disbanding. The really crazy thing is they had talked about it right after they made it "big" in the US and started gaining an even larger following. I think we don't consider how much pressure is placed on a person after they make it in music, or movies, sports, etc. and these boys are still young men who never expected to be where they are now. Because of that ARMY were in shock since the boys didn't talk about it but I can imagine the pressure, stress, mental and physical fatigue taking a toll on them all at once - it's heartbreaking but I'm so thankful that they were able to pull themselves back up and they said they ONLY continue doing it for us, their fans. As a side note Tae was still in breakdown mode after they left the stage and there's a behind the scenes thing put out by their company that shows bits and pieces of their entire day leading up to and then after their awards. I haven't watched it yet because I can't bear to see how upset they all are.

I always end up crying whenever I watch that artist of year acceptance speech. They don’t forget who they are, where they come from, and they worked hard to earn these achievements and against all those who keep dismissing them and their worth. A friend of mine became army recently 2-3 months ago, and she feels lucky that she got to be a fan before anything else happens. I’ve felt that too when I became one about a year ago. They are once in a lifetime. I kind of want you to check a few more music videos from the recent years before heading to the beginning, but it’s up to you :) I don’t even know where to begin, I’ll just throw a few out. “Not Today,” “Save Me,” “Blood, Sweat, & Tears,” and the “Serendipity” Comeback Trailer. Their first song however is called “No More Dream” and their second song is “We Are Bulletproof, Pt. 2.”
Those lights are army bombs that sync to the stadium when you go to concerts and make an army "ocean" . Depending on song they change colors and the way they flash. Also create messages and BTS will initiate the crowd to do a literal wave around the stadium. It's amazing
this is why no any other kpop group or artist could ever compare to BTS. I've stanned so many group throughout my teenage years and yet not a single one have reached to my heart as BTS had. I've found them the moment I've needed them the most. they pull me up whenever I'm feeling down and not myself through their music. they're just absolutely amazing, kind and super down to earth people that I've ever known.
people can go wish and pray for their downfall but as long as these boys are making music, ARMYS are here to stay.

Bts really loves Army. They made a couple of songs specifically for us. Jungkook wrote one that is called 'Magic Shop'. You should listen to it. It is really emotional.
I also went to wembley day 1, no one will ever top bts performing, the way they had the entire crowd engaged for over 2 hours yet we were all sobbing together the moment they played the last song, the concert scene is a place i’ve never felt more safe, everyone was so loving. I spoke to so many lovely people i’d never met before and met people i’d been friends with over the internet for months. The way we were all there for one reason made my heart warm. After the concert it took me 4 hours to get out of the stadium and to the hotel as no one wanted to leave. It felt like a dream, i’d give anything to experience it again. No one is doing it like bts.

Seeing them live is one of the most satisfying thing I've done in my life...not only because of the incredible performances but also because of the communion with army...it's almost therapetic

Finally💜 Don't know how many time i been watching ths, but i am still emotional & mad bcs of the hardships that caused by the haters. Their music heal millions of people, and give dreams, hope & peace😊 Mine too. And, They are the YOUNGEST recipients ever in history to received the Order of Cultural Merit award in 2018. Me watching them receiving the award like a proud mom😭 They are too big to ignore now.They only got each others back then, people making fun of them. But now, they lived at the most expensive apartment complex in South Korea, Hannam The Hill and according to Forbes they debuted at no 43 the highest paid boyband in the world.

I remember watching their speech live when Jin said they considered disbanding. A lot of ARMY's remember that moment because it was such a sincere shock. No one knew they got close to breaking up, no one knew they were struggling in that way. It made me not take BTS for granted or any k-pop group that I'm into.
You finally got us.. there are many things that we love about BTS, their music pulled us in at first but their personalities make us stay by their side.. they are truly 7 of the most beautiful human beings.. Been with them for over 3 1/2 years now and love them more each day..I'm one of those 27 percent age group of 40 and up.. They earned my respect with their words and actions.. being able to be at their concerts was the best experiences of my life. Today would have been my very first sound check at their concert in Santa Clara if it wasn't for covid.. been sad this whole day... sorry for this sadness

Thank you so much for watching these videos and being genuinely interested in the boys. I don’t tend to watch reactors who watch BTS, because a lot of people obviously do it for clout and move onto other kpop groups for the views, but you truly take in the message of BTS and understand how they truly want to change the world with their music.
I’ve been army since late 2016, and to this day, there’s constant hate toward them and it’s hurdle after hurdle, but they’re so strong and they’ve grown so much and their love for army and army love for them in return is so much stronger. Please react to the song armys were singing, it’s “BTS-Epiphany” sung by Jin. It was the first song that truly made me break down and realize music has serious impact on people. I had gotten out of a 5yr abusive relationship and the lyrics are just so so powerful, and Jin is such a powerhouse and delivers such a phenomenal performance. I was lucky enough to hear it live three times, and each time I cried lol

I really welcome you into the family. I love your reactions because you remind me of when i first became ARMY. I had been into kpop for 11 years and BTS is like a gem that i suddenly found after all those years in kpop. I am not intending to disregard or underestimate any other groups. It's because BTS gave and showed me something i never see in kpop before i met them. I am an obese lady and i am trying so hard to lose my weight without hating myself. I want to lose weight because i want to be healthy, not for the sake of wanting to be called 'beautiful'. BTS tells us to love ourselves, there are artists out there who did the same thing. But the thing with BTS is, they also say that the road to loving yourself is never easy. They tell us its okay to fall on those roads, its okay to feel hurt. But they also tell us that they will be there with us, holding our hands and walk with us on the road of self loving. Ever since i found them, i realize i began to appreciate myself more. They became a motivation and inspiration for me to appreciate myself before sacrificing for others.

Thank you for reacting 💜💜💜 to the last part after the Q&A video where somone ask you what video to watch on your channel and you pointing to your very first video I watched it and when the part with the "Love Yourself" came I was like yes you will love bts message even more and yhea bts often tells their story /and talks about different aspects of a theme in multiple albums as part of a Serie (often 3 Albums) so there are 3 Albums that talk about self love different aspects of love ; Love Yoursel:Her, LY:Tear and LY:Answer.
The shine blubs are BTS specific lightsticks and the newer versios can change the color through Bluetooth and if you get the app /and put in your seat number etc. At a concert the staff is able to coordinate the light/color throughout the concert it will cha ge its color to songs or built the surpirese massage "BTS love Army" at the end etc. (if I ever manage to get a ticket I will buy one at their concert... but for now I don't have one... PS for their Bang Bang Con... The online concert you watched part of the technik team created an App and managed to do the same thing like at concerts for Army bombs at home if Army's got the App and were watching through Weverse (which is a fan community platform /app by BigHit) so you could have a similar experience at the concerts at home.)
Bangtan Sonyeondan (the BT Comes from. Bangtan while the S comes from Sonyeondan... And the last word means translated roughly Boys/Boyscouts so not sooo full of meaning like the first part.

This is the first time I'm reacting to your video and I'm grateful that you've been loving BTS. I've seen many RUclipsrs turning away their backs from BTS though they loved BTS at the beginning! It hurts to see people unstanning and taking BTS for granted or not taking them seriously.
