If you arrive at Chiang Mai Airport, there are some taxi offices even if it's not gate 1
Even if you register there, they probably tell you to go to gate 1
To Old Town is 150 baht (a car for 4 persons)
There's probably an additional fee up to Nimmanhaemin, but I haven't experienced, so I don't know😀
You can pay the fare directly to the driver
For your information, don't panic if a regular car like Grab comes :) Chiang Mai doesn't have many taxis
