Asset CleanUp can get the job done for removing assets from loading on all of your pages. However I am not a fan of it's modification features and its user interface is quite frankly difficult to use. I highly recommend though you set it to load assets on button click it will reduce your ajax usage and improve the speed of your post edit screen.
It would be nice to have plugin specific comments and thoughts on implementing the options within that plugin based purely on that plugin, if you get what I mean. For example, you and a lot of other RUclipsr's I'm watching on this specific plugin, keep mentioning additional plugins that already do a specific task. The problem with that is everyone's not going to want to add all of those additional plugins. In my case, I am already getting good speeds on GTmetrix. I'm just looking to top it off and tie up some loose ends. So I'm trying to optimize this plugin. And instead of being helped with setting up this plugin, those things are glossed over because you guys say there's already a plugin handling it. Which leaves me wondering if I should select an option or not. Because when you gloss over it, it also implies there's something wrong with those options. It would be helpful to say if I didn't have another plugin doing this task, I would select, this, this, and that. Just some food for thought.
Hi, thx you for the tutorial. Well am facing problem that while using asset clean up; In mobile my menu is disabled. while it works fine in desktop but in mobile not able to move to other pages... Could you please suggest which setting is causing this problem.
so what do you recomend to activate for better performance: a) assets clean up and wp rocket b) wp rockket and pluging organizer c) autoptimize and wp rocket please if someone could help me I'll really apprecite it
Thank you for a terrific, no-nonsense guide to the plugin. Subbin' to ya. So is there really any point to using Asset CleanUp alongside Perfmatters? Because it sounds like Perfmatters does most of the improvements better (at a fee).
No personally I just user perfmatters primarily because it's more streamlined asset cleanups user interface is difficult it adds too much to the post screen and Perfmatters is just better all around.
While asset cleanup has features like html minify and their pro version has js minify combine etc this is much worse than WordPress Rocket's for comparison.
@@SERTMedia thanks for clarifying. WP Rocket and Perfmatters should be cutting you some $$ (or at least referring new users to your channel). You make a good case for them and you clearly know your stuff.
@@SERTMedia Thanks i have noted that, I would also want your take on Minimizing redirects on my site i have embedded a music player on my home page so on GTmetrix i score poorly on Minimize Redirects is there a way to go round this problem?
Interesting. Sounds like the test is timing out or you removed an asset. Likely JavaScript and it's spits out an error. Sometimes, in rare conditions, say you remove a script, it could throw an error on the page and as soon as that status code is read by the tests, it will abort the test.
Hello mate I saw your permatters tutorial I want to know if perfmatters and asset cleanup pro are the same? or they could work together and complement their features best regards
Functionally they are similar perfmatters is better in my opinion it can now also be loaded as a MU plugin so when you disable an entire plugin it stops loading completely on that given page (reducing database queries, and load time)

what you think about Phastpress? would be a good alternative?
This was very helpful in optimizing our site! Thank you :)
good shit once again Scott
Can we unload JS and CSS files from specific set of pages easily without manually going into each page for that?
what was the name of the free plugin you preferred over assets clean up? (not perfmatters, you talked about another one)
Webcraftic makes a good one called WordPress Asset Manager it's easy to use and has a cleaner UI compared to asset cleanup.
so what do you recomend to activate for better performance:
a) assets clean up and wp rocket
b) wp rockket and pluging organizer
c) autoptimize and wp rocket
please if someone could help me I'll really apprecite it
As I understand him wp rocket + webcraftic clearfy

Would you recommend using these Asset clean up, Auto-optimize and Smush combination for page speed or are they conflicting?
There is no conflict so long as you don't enable any minify options in asset cleanup

have you tryed using all 3 at the same time?
Does permatters also work with wp rocket? And do you have a video on that?
Yep I have a video on perfmatters and yes it works with wprocket i use them both together all the time.
@@SERTMedia great, thnx! Will check it out to speed up my site! 😃
Hello
I followed the video carefully
In the end, I could no longer measure the speed of my site through any of the speed analysis sites

How can we change the language of this plugin?
Hello mate
I saw your permatters tutorial

best regards

Great explanation! Thanks for your help!
Nice job! Have you usd Clearfy plugin?
I have and made a video for it!
hey we need full settings tutorial of pro version
Yes we do and this one needs an update both are in the works since CWV will be getting a mini-series on all the keymetrics and how to improve them.
11:28 - 11: 33 love it
Thank you @sertmedia
Please do Autoptimize video cuz I have never got any benefit from it.
I have an autoptimize video on the channel already!
Sorry, I just saw it's in your library
amazing !
Will removing the plugin from admin bar and the main dashboard menu improve site performance?
nice
so fuckin confiused. Autoptimise vs asset cleaner vs wp rocket
