1999 Kargil War, i had a freind in our school whose elder brother was in Army. After months when Kargil ended and everything was settled, he was coming home from Shrinagar, his mom had waited for very long, she was very excited hence she started to make all preparations like his favorite snacks like Home made potato chips, besan Bhujia etc. Days before his vacations so that her son could bring them back with him after his vacations are over. But all of a sudden his camp was attacked by terrorists and he died just two day before he could go home. Instead of him, his tri color covered coffin reaches our colony and his mother was..... Phew! I hve tears in my eyes while remembering the whole scene.. that's why this song makes me cry like a baby. That boy was just 21... At the end of this song, there is a sargam that sounds consoling and i could connect my self to it too cause there was another house in our army colony where a son did reach home safely from the battle nd his mom was sooooo happy cuz she already had witnessed the horror of her neighbor, that aunty cried like hell when she saw bhaiiya coming home safely cuz there were two emotions running at the same time one of extreme happiness nd another one of grief for aunty living in her neighborhood. My father was also in Kargil war nd we also had same emotions. That whole incident and personal of experience of war changed my perception forever, no war is good. War brings dead bodies on either sides

A mother lost her young son just few days ago due to covid in my neighborhood. She was herself admitted to the hospital, when she came home today after recovering from covid, she was told the news of her son's demise. She couldn't bear the pain and she passed away today. She must have met her son in the other world today. It took me to this song. I am all tears. God bless everyone 🙏
