Katie I like your style lady. Don’t let the trolls make you explain about the noises in your house. It’s your house for Pete’s sake. Don’t let them change your style or how you change what you do. Celebrate your uniqueness!!!!😎🌺💕

I really just love that you thought to try out shell pieces on your polymer pendant, because I have seen that you do value the smoothness of the resin on the top: no wonder you wanted 3 coats, along with the bubble you noticed. You are obviously much more detail oriented that I am, but your jewelry comes out so very gorgeous! I understand now that job-wise, it would be better not to wear dangling multipendant necklaces--that makes sense danger-wise. It would probably take me a long time to make a multi-pendant art necklace and to get the resin that smooth! I am still gathering tools, and do not have much money to work with, but am gradually finding out some equipment that might help me to make the jewelry gifts I would want to! A small butane torch, an embossing powder heating tool, and one of those nice Pandora UV Light Boxes are definitely on my list to save up for! I just love the calmness you have as you teach and do things; you have a very nice manner! Thank you also for saying things you have tried in the past that did not work as well as had been hoped, so that others can avoid using less than satisfactory techniques or products! Thank you again for all the time and expense you put into your tutorials, and for all the effort you go to on top of working a full-time job and going to classes!! I wish you the very best and truly hope you will have a wonderful Spring and Summer of 2023 !!! 🐢❤🦀🎺✴🌲🍁🤩🌈

I’m so glad you made this video as I’ve been thinking about how to use some beautiful, yet “not whole”, shells I collected when I lived on the beach in Mexico. I bought polymer clay to practice on before investing in metal clay to use in my jewelry designs, and now I’m addicted to polymers as well as your videos! You are a fantastic teacher.

Beautiful. Working on mine right now. ;) For the bubbles in your resin, you can drill them out with a tiny drill bit and then on your next layer of resin, fill them in. Make sure you use something sharp to push the resin into the holes. Oh, and you may have to sand the surface a tiny bit before adding your next layer of resin.

Love your videos and this technique. Have you tried using tape when doing the resin. I usually tape my pieces with masking tape that way if it drips it will come off when removing the tape and lessens the need for sanding. I also sometimes use a uv gel top coat over the resin as then you can wipe the surface with alcohol and will stay shiny.
