I found my Annie in a graveyard, Yes a graveyard. She ran in front the car straight into the field with all the graves.. So I got out and just stood there. She turned around came right up to me and lay down.. I picked her up. Put her in the car took her home. 2 days late, she went to the vet... It's been almost two years now and she's close to 14Lb I never knew rabbits could get so big. Annie and my two dachshunds Love each other so much.. At night and we are at work she stays in a 12x10 pen. Once we get home, she has the rum of the house.. Rabbits are truly awesome animals to have..

For anyone watching this she should never hold a rabbit that way they can kick and break their backs and spines etc they should have a hand / arm always supporting their feet to your body closely if you need to pick them up as they hate it because prey pick them up .As well to many like triple the amount of pellets ate gave its 3 x to much they need only a 1/8 of a cup per 3 pounds and they NEVER should be in a cage especially a wire bottom rabbits don’t have pads on the bottom of feet and cause painful infections and injuries. They should be in a metal xpen , for dogs that are large enough to binky , run, play with lots of enrichment as well as unlimited hay Timothy fresh hay or a free roaming rabbit like mine that is litter trained hay on one end and paper pellets on other end they will train them self’s. Make sure you bunny proof all wires up etc. no bottles but heavy ceramic Bowls with fresh water 2x or more a day as bottle is not natural to rabbits and dehydrate them and they leak. Rabbits should never be bought for a child as they are more work then any pet and they are extremely sensitive and fragile animals and they need lots of attention, maintenance time, love affection, a good rabbit savvy vet you will be there very often they are to much responsibility for a child most suffer due to old way of housing and caring for rabbits they suffer a horrific and painful death in silence caging a rabbit is like jail it’s solitary confinement and it’s evil educate before ever getting a rabbit
