The complete disdain for customers was common during socialist times. Things have changed to a certain degree but you still get the same type of experience mainly in state offices and in hospitals.

Well I’ve got to say I have to agree with you there Kevin, stuffed frogs? WTH?😆No wonder we don’t see many around these days…. They probably get rounded up and sent to Froggyland. As for that bar, no wonder it was empty, they should pay you for going in there.
We stayed on Brac Island and didn’t have any problems. The older people let’s say were a bit reserved but the younger ones couldn’t do enough for us. I would recommend a stay on the island to anybody. 👍👍
Hi Kev, stayed in the Istra region 5 years ago where the hotel staff were very abrupt and snotty. I got to know a Croatian rep who said brits are regarded as moaners and complainers on TripAdvisor etc. Can't win em all.
I'm from Australia and married to an English lady. We love going to the UK to listen to how much people moan and complain about small things. We find it hilarious 😂
