I know I am late but the animation bug thingy is probably one of roblox's beta features, it happened to me once and i disabled it, they have it on to help you keep your progress if studio crashes or you want to stop for the day.
I know you don’t do animations, but the weird animation bug can be fixed by making a new rig with the same name as the previous one, then deleting the bugged one
Watch TheDevKings videos they are decently short and good enough , research forums and check out the API. Alvinblox is also suggested but he does explain more detailed in exchange of long videos.
