Great Find Jeff! Not sure if I would like the Long Skirts but Love, love, love the interior work there! WOW! and very Cool Dash is RIGHT! Very CooL Jeff! Lucky man! hehe Thanks gene
This is a beautiful '88, 1957 Olds. I had this model but it was the J2 setup, stick shift, h.d. truck clutch and all the extras with those great hub caps and form fitting skirts. I truly loved it and still dream about it. Dan Shaugnessy, Fla.
Oldsmobile has always been in the top 2 of my favorites. This one is exceptional. Not too much just the right amount of custom work. I am one who usually goes for original/stock look but this one I like and I do realize that every one has their own likes and dis-likes. Jay at the end was a nice touch...
@TheBetterPeter That's a good question...they are just a custom touch that's added for looks. I believe they first started doing them in the 50's. A lot of guys put drain holes in the bottom of the antenna tubes. They usually put some kind of fitting on the drain hole so they can run a hose down to the ground.
@Firemind94 Yep, that diamond tufted interior is something else. It really is a nice looking car. They did an excellent job customizing it. Thanks for checking it out!
@pulse0000 They sure did a great job with all the body mods. It's not my favorite upholstery either, but that could be changed easily enough I guess. It sure is a great looking car! Thanks for watching!
@phill903 I need to find out exactly what's under the hood. It's not a nail head because the heads are angled. They said it's a 62...might be an Olds Rocket.
@805ROADKING I'm not sure about that interior either, but I guess that's how it was done back in the day. It's a nicely modified car for sure. Thanks for watching!
@MrBlueroads Dodges tend to be worth a little less than a comparable Ford or Chevy, but those pickups from the 50's are nice looking. My uncle has a couple of them. I'll see if i can get you an idea of what it's worth.
Now that's a beautiful blast from the past. Who ever the person is, they did a fantastic job on restoring this beauty & the mods are so cool too!!

i could see right away this was a very nicely done custom machine. a lot of work has gone into that and it looks spectacular.

That's a cool car, that was just like they did to them in the late 50's and early sixties.

@VoVaKissCam On this particular car, the lake pipes on the sides are just for looks. The real exhaust runs out the back.
Nice!

Red Rocket! Red Rocket!
Very nice . I don't think the merc skirts really do anything for this car.
very nice car !
Body sans pillar with those side moldings & tail lights mean Golden Rocket 88 Holiday; rear faux exhaust bumper is Super 88/98
