Seriously, I feel so bad for Jessi. : / People misunderstand her all the time because of the way she speaks and thinking it comes off as an attitude most of the time even though she talked about this many times. Only her fans and a few know about her situation.
Seriously y'all need to stop hating on jessi and i actually learn what she's really like. Just because she has more than 10 years of sunging experience doesnt mean she lived in korea for more than 10 yrs. She left and went back to America a few times. Jessi is not a b*tch she's really sweet and kind and you wouldnt know unless u gave her a chance
I love how everyone assumes she lived in Korea for ten years. No. She debuted 10years ago. Before that debut she lived in America and didn't speak any Korean before her debut. After that debut was a fail she LEFT Korea and returned to America. So she never fully took the time to learn Korean. She can speak Korean she's just bad at grammar. I'm the exact same way I can speak Korean I can understand Korean. But when it comes to Grammar it's complete shit.
The more I watch this show, the more I realize they are not harsh in the way of combat skill training, they are harsh in the way that makes you feel useless... all the foreigners in the show, they always get scolded again and again just because they smile sometimes... Do they have any idea how hard they go through life telling themselves to smile even when they have anxiety? And in here, they just induce your sickness of anxiety...
most of these comments and the way that one trainer treated jessie is absolutely ridiculous and utterly ethnocentric. i've lived in the states for most of my life and whenever i was living in korea i had not encountered a single korean who was able to continue a decent conversation with me in engish deslite the fact that english in a core part of the korean education and that koreans learn the language ever since the third grade of elementary school. and yet these people some how expect Jessie to naturally become familiar with all these new cultural factors and words that she'd never ecountered before in her life...? i mean how much more ignorant can these people be?
1- her parents are Korean 2- she trained in Korea as a teenager Based off this, most people would expect better Korean language skills. If you met some White American people that grew up in Korea and didn’t speak English, I would look at them oddly. Your comparison is a bit...off. Jessi isn’t good at languages obviously.
@@HKim0072 1) Them being Koreans doesn't mean they had to teach her Hangul especially when she was born and raised in NY where English is the official language. 2) It's harder to learn a new language as you get older especially since they don't even use English alphabets. And fyi, Jessi learned Korean only from her grandmother so she never really learned grammar. Less than 4 years after her debut, she went back to America and stayed there for 5 years so she forgot mostly of what she learned that's why her Korean here was not good.
@@ellimayi And i also watched a video of a korean youtuber that can speak and understand english. He explained one clip, where Jessi guested in a korean tv show when she 16 or 17 years old, the reason the hosts were laughing a bit was because Jessi spoke like a grandma.
that’s waaaaaaaay more patient and generous than how US soldiers treat KATUSAs you people should know where military is and if you want to blame someone, then that’s the director of this show, not the soldier
+LoveGeeksChic dun say sth nonsense . Jessi has ten years of singing experiences but not spent ten years speaking in Korea. She has returned to US after the fail of career and turned back Korea lately. Im sure she doesnt really spend time to learn Korean. Sor for bad Englsih
What season or ep is this? I never watched Real Men before but I wanted to watch this for her. Feel bad that she struggle with korean and she looks good without makeup.
I am currently watching all shows that featured jessi these days and i've actually watch all real men episodes from start to real men 300 but i don't remember watching jessi in it, i wonder which episode this is from, anyone know?
I wonder why there are so little scenes of the girl from CLC? I am really curious about her, yet this show keeps cutting her scene, like when they are reading the letters, her scene was cut too...
Sharin Ishak yohh attitude no.its language barrier because she cannot speak fluently in korean.same most korean they not all speak fluently english.so be kind dont say like that
This is not about different culture and custom between US and Korea. It is about an attitude! You think the US soldiers hang around and play in the army, Jessie?
I love how everyone was helping her at the end of the clip

Finally s1 said it, Haters is shit.
During those 10 years she was atleast 6 years in america. She took a 5 year hiatus from showbusiness
The military jargon and terminologies are so difficult even for native koreans, so proud of you Jessi!!!

서구마인드와 제시는 상관없음 .... 미국 군대가 자유로거 봤냐 거긴 더 엄격함
맞아요. 미군 군기 진짜 엄격합니다.
Why blame her? when Korean itself can not speak Korean well
군대라는 곳에선 웃음이란 사치일 뿐...

Attitude is not allowed in the army, a good lesson for jessi I think HAHAHAHAHAH
youre so rude do u like watching people get in embarassing state its not jus enough people like u to call bitch

This is not about different culture and custom between US and Korea.
It is about an attitude!
You think the US soldiers hang around and play in the army, Jessie?
Dude, she wasn't complaing between the two different cultures, its just that her grammar is bad in korean. She can speak korean but not fluently.
Liz 19 actually....yeah they do play around in the Army.
Play around there on a tv show
They play a lot in the Army. Don't say stuff that you don't know. She's not complaining. Put your feet in her shoes before you judge her.
