Hey Wurst, I havent played much rust lately but still enjoy the videos. I used the OG Frustrator in one of the best 3 man wipes I ever had in my first 1k hours. We added ladder hatches and a shooting floor and built a small compound to surround it, and after the whole wipe of being untouchable, another similarly geared 3 man came to our base while one of us was online, and spent nearly 80 rockets after we logged in to defend. It was a grueling hour long battle that ended in us losing, but they spent their entire stock of explosives to open up our core. The base that made one of my favorite wipes ever stood the test well beyond its advertised limits, and even though we were successfully raided, I learned so much from that wipe that I wont ever forget. Thanks for your continued efforts in the rust community and here's to many more amazing base designs!
reminds me of one of my wipes with this, we were lucky back then, the raiders raided through the top and died from the shotgun traps first, then got countered and we were able to seal everything off when a good opportunity opened. Later I also made a base 2-3 times as expensive as this one on a 2x server and it was some kind of combination of this and the trident, used the shelf variant for the loot room. It lasted through a monthly wipe due to having an unreasonable amout of TC's.

This is the best base design thats on yt right now. Raided a zerg 5x5 and took 3 boxes with metal frags from them so i added 2 layers of honeycomb to this design
If you're a real insane builder and you're comfortable with running a lot of electric, one trick I liked to save myself some headache later on was to run a couple switches to the deepest part of the base. One of those switches controls all the turret garage doors and turret power and the other switch has a door controller hooked up to every non-turret door in the base. Basically, when you're logging off for the night, you can just flip the door switch on then off and it will close every door in the base. In the case of an online raid, you have essentially a panic button that will lock down every door in the base and expose and activate all the exterior turrets. The 2 downsides are the time to setup as the door controllers are just a bitch to wire and that if you get door raided you need access to all the electrical components in order to replace any destroyed controllers which means the electrical components will be exposed *somewhere*
Your videos are among the few I can watch on 1x speed due to the compressed way you convey information. A lot of other RUclipsrs I have to watch on 1.5 to 1.75 to make it bearable.
Built this on trio 2x pixierust. First 2 raids were online and thanks to turrets/ peakdowns only broke honeycomb. 3rd was offline and they go in but only got components loot room so tc/sulf was safe. 4th raid manged to break 2 loots rooms and top 2 chests in tc chute but still left tc/sulf. 5th raid was offline foudation wipe with c4.
Evil Wurst Currently using the retaliator and had a group use 3 c4 assuming I was off line, and heard “oh forget this. It’s not worth it” after blowing the first wall and leave bwahahaha
17:20 instead of boxes, you can place an autoturret. Its a real pain in the arse to bait or kill it when you have to jump up from underneath it. I once had to doorraid a base with such a turret and it really took us a lot of time.
"An Aloneintokyo inspired compound..." Nice to hear you mention aloneintokyo, underated channel but incredible player. Also, seriously remarkable improvements on this base design, impressive as fuck!
As soon as I saw him building that compound entrance, I thought to myself "aye, that's what Tokyo uses" then he shouted him out and it brought a tear to my eye.
So true, for me AloneInTokyo is one of the two gameplay channels where I never miss an episode! And he's not only a god a PVP, but also at base building, and making music!

@7:55 - I got the barbecue to just barely fit inside the airlock room right next to the T2WB. What would you suggest I do with that extra triangle space or did you have a specific reason for the bbq being in there? It seems better in the airlock in that spot just next to where it is now in your video. Small detail, but just curious as I learn more about base design.
I love your bases dude, though my favorite is still the mini frustrator. I added roof access and a turret behind some garage doors, plus a trading area
Great choice using the Mini Frustrator! I recently tried to see whether I can improve the Mini Frustrator, but somehow, I must have hit one of those designs that are simply optimal in terms of efficiency
Hey wurst, honestly amazing design for sure gonna try it out. Also, it would be fun and deferent for you to make a video of you and you group playing a wipe. I feel this would be very entertaining as I feel your groups are always very well organised and efficient. If not of course all good as your base designs obviously take lots of time and thought. Great work with everything :)
Great video and content. Learned many new things even though the video is a bit harder to watch than others of yours. Some perspectives are a bit too fast, e.g. to recognize soft side of walls. What is not working for me is placement of cupboards inside a triangle like shown at 20:13. Tried it so hard, any tips? is it because my walls were already updated to metal?
This is insanely cool. I can’t wait to accidentally miss a step in this build... because I know I will. Also respect for aloneintokyo, the dude is a beast.
Well it had a good run. Lasted about 2 days, got raided by a team of bout 10 when only two of our members were online and we barely had any gun. Peekdowns from the expansion helped greatly with defense and it ended up taking them over an hour and a half before they left, likely because they wanted to let the vanishing loot despawn, as they didn't get access to any of the chest packets.
Evil, I built a larger base for modded servers based on your design. The main difference is that I separated the loot rooms by additional layers of walls and put in a fully HQM solid core out of half walls. Overall it works fantastic. My one comment would be that the majority of raiders just attempt to blow in through the side of the base, so the drop down's with the traps aren't very effective against that.
To me, it's a win if raiders decide to go through walls. In most bases, raiding through walls is the least efficiency way, as doors are so much weaker. Thus, if raiders feel forced to raid through walls, they chose the least efficient raid path ... which is the best outcome you can hope for as a base builder
@@EvilWurst On vanilla servers I use the glitch where you push yourself through a gap with double doors. That forces raiders to go through walls no matter what they do. On modded servers efficiency doesn't matter, which is why the bases are so much larger anyway. The meta changes from "secure your loot" to "hide your loot". But after learning how to play on modded servers it is possible to still hide your loot in non obvious places on vanilla. For example I usually hide TC in the upper floors of the base in the honeycomb. Nobody ever finds it there.
Very good base build but can sometimes be a little bit difficult to follow with some awkward camera angles. Still managed to do it and the base is holding up very well. Thanks man 🔥
Ooooh man I can't wait to run wild with this one.. Looks like I'm going a wipe without the modified Grand Frustrator I use in exchange for this one :) Awesome updated version Evil can't wait for the other vids :)
Usualy, I take your build and change it but this time, it's so well made that I don't know what to change. Very well made. I would love to see your take on building the big rock base. It offers the best protection possible outside of caves. (100 rockets is very doable)
Evil Wurst nothing in this game makes me more happy then seeing they didn't get your tc when u know u been raided I built this a week ago and was raided from front doors and they went to the loot room behind the first locker and my team mate left doors open im sure it was aids I had pure shotgun traps in there keep up the good base builds :Thumbs Up:
What about a simpler method of a loot chute, but with spikes or pressure pad traps? I like the idea of completely sealing off a 2×1 loot room accessable only by sleeping bag, and a small opening to pass loot in and out.
Honestly this is the build I needed I used to do the frustration but swapped to just doin the usual 5x5 but I’m sick of offlines and I’m sure this will help
Yes, I guess the 5x5 only works well if you stay online. Once the video with the extensions that provides internal peekdowns comes out, the base also starts providing those online-defense capabilities (at a hefty price tag though)
@@EvilWurst I would say the HellMaw is the go to base build for my groups. The layout builds up in a very easy to follow/logical way. Even though I usually have to build the bases, it was intuitive enough that they could easily follow your build plans and have learned to make it themselves. (I don't think they could make this base on their own etc, and I could see myself needing a fair bit of practice too) The drop-down into a living space is something I think we all really like. While they sometimes get frustrated by the jump, the security is tough to beat! The way you do the shoot point points hjune style by the door to prevent the door camping is a great addition and would help a lot. I have found the base gets door camped a LOT! Starting out it is also quite vulnerable due to what is often a single double door entrance, and I have been countered trying to build it more than once! The other thing is that there is SO much space all around the first floor that we are using as honeycombing and it is quite expensive to honeycomb with sheet metal. I feel like maybe a roof style honeycomb or something could make it more unique and potentially less expensive for the ground floor honeycomb. I also find the 2nd floor/windows often make the base more of a target than anything else. (though I appreciate being able to look out etc) In general size seems to paint a target on you. So maybe something new along the same lines of thought? As a more general base build topic video I would love to see some content around building with Rocks in the landscape. I have found being able to find a place where two rocks meet, and assuring two (sometimes even the roof) are directions your base can't be breached in is incredibly strong! (While it is harder to make a one size fits all design for this) I think you could provide some great general strategies! Anyway I am in the discord and happy to add more info if you are interested, keep up the great work!
Thank you, I just wanted to get a general feel for why you think the base works and why not. If I revisit it, I will launch another feedback thread in the Discord
Yes, that actually works. Here is a little sneak peak from an image I shared on my Discord: cdn.discordapp.com/attachments/663091687563853826/663384408211849216/unknown.png
I love how you update all of your base designs after major changes are made to the game. Can you please redo the mini version of this base(The Aggravator)? My friend and I are a duo and I don’t think we could manage the full size version.
Hi Evil. First of all, I love your designs. Keep up the great work. But I also want to critize one thing. It is the way to build certain designs in Live-Action mode. When you are on a real server, you need to make certain steps as efficient as possible. When I train your designs on a build server I never use /fly or anything to make it appear a real scenario. And when I do this. I realize some improvements in your Build steps. Example: 8:40, building the ceiling and roof exit. The way u explain it, its impossible to do it on a live server since you cannot jump that high to make precise build steps. Therefore I try to build a little tower from the center spot, so that I can reach every inch of the roof and to make the roof exit comfortable. So I thought, maybe i can make my tower like it needs to be in the full build. Well and with that knowledge I alter your build steps in a way, its safe and efficient in a live-setup. Best regards and greetings from germany :-)
Yes, it’s true, in particular in the more complex builds, I tend to use noclip. My rationale is twofold: 1. People who build such complex builds can figured out solutions by themselves 2. The same people appreciate of the videos are shorter and more dense rather than drawn out
maybe look into using the 3 external TCs to build the peekdowns with small gaps in the base. that way the "less than 24hour upkeep" is not a problem because you can fit way more upkeep into 4 TCs than into one?
This is a brilliant base and guide on how to make it. Im new to the game so i built this base and its amazing, But i have a few questions... Why do you add the stairs into the loot room to block them off? what is the purpose of putting the lockers in the corner rooms and sealing them off? What does the sleeping bag next to the room with the tool cupboard? how would late starters use it if its sealed off? and how would you pass loot through into it? thanks for the guide and i hope to see more. also will you show adding a shooting tower on this build?
If people were able to climb inside of the base, they could destroy the lower two boxes from a different angle, and the stashes would fall onto the ground. They could then climb down to retrieve the content. The stairs prevent all of that
If you use grenade's and throw them in the far back, they break the two boxes at the same time and it seems like they tend to get glitched up and not wanting to fall inside that half wall. However, it seems like there is still a chance that they could still slide inside the half wall, but haven't had any luck with it. Also the grenades kills you, so throw and run :D
Flawless design! Im looking forward to see others youtubers following suit and updating their old designs similarly. My only criticism, when trying to follow the steps to replicate the build at the same time, in lieu of saying "here" would be to indicate the position.
Will be using this base, thanks for contributing this to the rust community! I would really like to know all your settings, the game looks so good for some reason.
I tried to build it myself but some things aren't possible anymore, because the Rust Updates changed some build methods. Stairs at the Entrance, Roof under the Floor as Shilding for the TC and the Staircase inside the Loot Rooms are some Changes. These are the Noticeables. And sorry for my bad English Writing, it is not my common Language.

Thanks! Too bad that the Building 4.0 update broke so many things 😞
About 5 minutes in I didnt even know what I was watching. Not that I got confused, I just lost track cuz I was so amazed!
aboslutely amazing. your videos never cease to amaze me.
I always go for elegancy over strenght. and boy this a piece of art!
BUDDIE hahaha u know it
Hehehe, yes, we're on the same page here, I have indeed discarded designs that were strong and functional but too ugly :D
i dont even play rust, i just like to watch you build this genius base...
If you enjoy the video, that's good enough for me :D
Built this on trio 2x pixierust. First 2 raids were online and thanks to turrets/ peakdowns only broke honeycomb. 3rd was offline and they go in but only got components loot room so tc/sulf was safe. 4th raid manged to break 2 loots rooms and top 2 chests in tc chute but still left tc/sulf. 5th raid was offline foudation wipe with c4.
Foundation wiped ... if raiders have to resort to that, I call that a win in my book :)
Another great base added to my rotation. This, the Valkyrie, raptor, and retaliator are the 4 I always use when building a main
Great! Hope the designs are serving you well!
Yes, that would be a fantastic spot!
OMG you finally did it new version of frustraitor . this is what ive been waiting for to play rust aagain
I am sorry to be drawing you back into this toxic time sink :)
@@EvilWurst Absolutely man, I almost suggested him to get you to voice over his most recent base building videos for the sake of clarity. But that would probably clash with his style... Still, Collab when? :3
Couldnt have come at a better time. Just went deep on a stacked group and had to find a better base design to house it. The Frustrator never fails!
very interesting, i wish there was a video of you just building this base in its entirety without the starter base, because my buddy and i's 2x2 is loaded and we are looking to just build the base completely and move all of our loot. still really helpful, thanks :)
My guy. You have outdone yourself. It truely is a pleasure to watch these. 2020 is looking to be your year. Keep up the truely fantastic work.
Thank you Dr. Kevorkian!
If you have tc you can place small boxes behind halfway thru the broken loot stashes and move them forward to loot it
Great vid Evil keep up the great workand again goodluck on the job
Thank you Thomas!
another work of art! i tried replicating the vanishing loot on my server tho, and it always hung in the wall! lol ...great design and video, as always ! love the fact of resurrecting an oldie that always tortures raiders! thx brother! you are my hero! keep up the good work, and as always...i owe ya a beer!
Make sure that the large boxes sit exactly along the 3 dots of the sheet metal foundation! The correct placement is crucial for this to work
@@EvilWurst yes SIR! and thank you again! i finally got it working last night , and am looking forward to the wipe! im building this tonight to make sure i know all the build steps in order! on my server we get a starter kit , so as a trio we should have this up and running within a few hours of wipe! oh BTW , i love the front door pits! thats so awesome for clearing door campers!
Awesome! Have a great wipe!
I quit rust a while ago but i still watch these videos.
And here I am taking a break from doing dishes, thinking man you know what would be absolutely awesome right now? Something from the Wurst, I swear every time I see a new notification from you Evil I’m like a kid at Christmas!
Thank you Trevor, that makes me smile!
You are on fire so far this year Evil. One of the OG and still best Rust deities!
Thanks too kind Larry! I am happy to hear that you appreciate those creative bursts of my brain :)
Wurst at it's best!
Dude you make amazing videos. Probably THE best build videos. I want you to know your work is very appreciated and your skill is highly noticed. Keep it up man.
Thank you for those kind words, Chris! I am just trying to have fun being creative and sharing that excitement through my videos
Great work, thanks for bringing back the frustrator! You are the man
I don’t even play rust that much, but I watch this video anyway becuase it’s relaxing
Happy to hear that!
Im waiting for next version of this base
I don't play anymore but still love your genius builds!
I'd love to do such a video, but there's simply not enough hours in the day for this to be remotely possible
@@EvilWurst yeah I kind of guessed as much, that's the price I guess for such amazing base designs
Gosh golly. Thanks for including the aloneintokyo external wall trick. Poggers
This is insanely cool. I can’t wait to accidentally miss a step in this build... because I know I will. Also respect for aloneintokyo, the dude is a beast.
If it helps you ... even I make mistakes in game. The best remedy is to hit those build servers and practice beforehand
Evil Wurst..The Rust God Of Carpenter.. been learning from you every since i met you. thank you for the videos. btw i always build the mini fustrator
Thanks and great choice! I recently tried to improve the Mini Frustrator, but I was not able to find anything more efficient at this price range
Turns out the enemy clan ragequit the server after because they haven't been online since
I love how he says "the core"
You, are an architectural genius.
Very good base build but can sometimes be a little bit difficult to follow with some awkward camera angles. Still managed to do it and the base is holding up very well. Thanks man 🔥
Thank you for the feedback. Since the base is not targeted at beginners, I might have cut a few of the scenes too short
Ooooh man I can't wait to run wild with this one.. Looks like I'm going a wipe without the modified Grand Frustrator I use in exchange for this one :) Awesome updated version Evil can't wait for the other vids :)
Great! With the upgrades that are coming, the base can even become as strong (and as expensive) as the Grand Frustrator
@@EvilWurst will the videos be out before the wipe next week by chance ?
Usualy, I take your build and change it but this time, it's so well made that I don't know what to change. Very well made.
I would love to see your take on building the big rock base. It offers the best protection possible outside of caves. (100 rockets is very doable)
Thanks, that's a fantastic compliment!
This is modular. Love it.
I can spawn this square around rocks, caves, ect. and vary along the way if needed. Simple unit and ez to make. 😘
Love the builds
Evil Wurst nothing in this game makes me more happy then seeing they didn't get your tc when u know u been raided I built this a week ago and was raided from front doors and they went to the loot room behind the first locker and my team mate left doors open im sure it was aids I had pure shotgun traps in there keep up the good base builds :Thumbs Up:
Fantastic! I love to hear these types of success stories!
Building Time is such a peaceful music ... i hope you'll make some more !
Thank you! These comments are certainly create the motivation to do that!
Beyond impressive - my man..
Im new here, But from the content I have watched and comments I have read I will be sticking around. Amazing content. Therapeutic voice as well.
Welcome to the channel
Evil Wurst yeah I’m okay with a base that’s under 24 hours upkeep though excited for the next part
Have a good night man wish you all the best
this is the most epic thing
I can't build the square roof against the floor shown on 10:18. Any sugestions appreciated!
That was patched unfortunately. In this video, I go through everything that is affected ruclips.net/video/05ZpbXqeFU4/видео.html
I loved this base so much can you do another version of it ?
Incredible build! (SOOO involved but still!) I think it seems worth it. I would be into seeing another version of the hellmaw as well!
Would you mind sharing real quick what you like about the Hellmaw and would you think needs improvement?
@@EvilWurst I would say the HellMaw is the go to base build for my groups. The layout builds up in a very easy to follow/logical way. Even though I usually have to build the bases, it was intuitive enough that they could easily follow your build plans and have learned to make it themselves. (I don't think they could make this base on their own etc, and I could see myself needing a fair bit of practice too)
The drop-down into a living space is something I think we all really like.
If I revisit it, I will launch another feedback thread in the Discord
would really be nice if the peekdowns would be part of the external TC's (like in AloneInTokyo's Design)
Honestly it migh ve kinda easy to make them like that in this base
Yes, that actually works. Here is a little sneak peak from an image I shared on my Discord: cdn.discordapp.com/attachments/663091687563853826/663384408211849216/unknown.png
Liked. Saved. Shared. Downloaded. Subscribed. 👌🏻 nice video dude love the layout will try this one on 3x solo server
Thank you so much and welcome to the channel! Within the next 2 weeks, I plan to release and upgrade that might work exceptionally well on 3x servers
My rationale is twofold:
1. People who build such complex builds can figured out solutions by themselves
2. The same people appreciate of the videos are shorter and more dense rather than drawn out
I wonder why he hasn't one million of suscribers, great video bro.
YEEES! FINALLY! I LOVE FRUSTRATOR SERIES!
maybe look into using the 3 external TCs to build the peekdowns with small gaps in the base. that way the "less than 24hour upkeep" is not a problem because you can fit way more upkeep into 4 TCs than into one?
Yes, I already looked into it
This is a brilliant base and guide on how to make it.
The stairs prevent all of that
bruh u should have a show on netflix this is awsome
Thank you :D
If you use grenade's and throw them in the far back, they break the two boxes at the same time and it seems like they tend to get glitched up and not wanting to fall inside that half wall. However, it seems like there is still a chance that they could still slide inside the half wall, but haven't had any luck with it. Also the grenades kills you, so throw and run :D
Yes, in the original video on the Vanishing Loot exploit, I went a little bit through how positioning affects where the stashes go down.
PRECISION german engineering!
Would love to see a 2021 version of it maybe on a bigger scale
11:30 damn that music track.... so good
Dylan Sitts - Maybe Not
i love this base with all my heart
Flawless design! Im looking forward to see others youtubers following suit and updating their old designs similarly. My only criticism, when trying to follow the steps to replicate the build at the same time, in lieu of saying "here" would be to indicate the position.
Yes, good pointer, I try to keep that in mind
@@EvilWurst I had only heard it twice in the beginning, and I (we) appreciate you explaining why you place things here.... err... where you do. ;)
This base is amazing and so are you !!
Thank you for the kind words!
Around 22:35 in the music voices start speaking in the background, freaky as fudge!
Will be using this base, thanks for contributing this to the rust community!
I would really like to know all your settings, the game looks so good for some reason.
Thanks. I don’t really know my settings. I followed a guide on YT for rust on high end machines
Yes, you are right. Building 4.0 nerfed a few things. This is why I added the warning sign to the thumbnail and added info in the description
How can I place the roof through the floor at 10:17 or has it been patched?
Sadly, yes. The video in the pinned comment has details
Nice i remember watching this vid when it first came out
Wow, that's almost 2 years ago now! Thanks for sticking around!
