Why you call it free, when you need to pay professional content creators to make content for it? Amateur content is not good enough for brands. It is a very good opportunity, no doubt, but there is nothing free about it.
I agree life is about momentum. The hardest part for most people they can’t even get started. If they could figure out WHY they want to succeed and get leverage on themselves then they would (hopefully) take action. Understanding yourself and your motivations is number 1.🎉✨
So I just got an invite from an IG broadcast channel created by someone I met and really connected with from one conversation in a Jamba juice in Staten Island 7 years ago and was super excited. This is something I haven't seen before and it feels really powerful.
It was just a 41 sec audio clip introducing the vibe and what to expect. I haven't talked to this person more than 2 times since meeting and it doesn't feel awkward or invasive or scammy. I really like it.
Pure execution. End of the day we have no idea what the social platform algorithms are going to do or control. We just control the content that we can create and distribute consistently to get insights to optimize and execute.
I'm glad he hits on the hard work aspect. Many kids these days think they will get internet famous or become an influencer overnight, but it is not likely at all and they are practicing the wrong things.
GaryVee, one of your best videos I've seen. Got a few questions though and I am sure it will help everyone if you can answer them. 1. Producing 40+ pieces of content per day is not possible for 99% of people. It's only possible if you pay people to help you produce content and most people don't have the money/income to pay someone to help them with content. Question: what's your advice for "most people" who only work 8-10 hours per day and don't have time to do 40+ pieces of content? You could if all you did was 5 second videos or just pointless quotes, but that's not really valuable. Even producing 1 good RUclips video can take people 3-5 days to script, edit, film, etc. 2. I believe most people quit because they don't see results. I've helped my clients make over $23M in sales in 3 years from social media. I've been studying anything about marketing for 13+ years and have become very good at helping others. The problem is, I don't have that super hyped personality and not really great on camera. Even my RUclips channel, 200+ videos and not even 1K subs. Meanwhile, there's people that have no idea what they are talking about or just copy others and they get millions of followers and subs. Question: What's your advice on building a huge following when you do put time and energy in and you're getting no where? Do you keep going and know it's probaby not going to work or keep going and not give AF if it works or not and just hope, it takes off? 3. This question is about happiness and I feel most creators are depressed and very unhappy now. Let's use trending audio for example. Instead of using music you love and music that you resonate with, people now use trending audio (that sucks) and music they don't like because they know it's going to go viral or has more of a chance to go viral. For me personally, If I use music I love, it gets low views because it's not trending. I then use viral trending audio that I hate and don't like, but it gets more views. I think that is a massive problem for people's happiness. People are now doing stuff that will help them go viral to gain followers and subscribers instead of being congruent to themselves and doing stuff that makes them happy. What's your take on this? Do you do stuff that makes you happy even if it results in no reach and 12 months later, you still have no following? or do you keep your happiness on hold for 12 months. You do stuff that goes viral even if you don't want to do it and after 12 months after you've built your audience, then you start doing stuff you love? Would love to know your thoughts on this mate. Those are some really valuable tips and I wish I have watched this video before... It would have saved me so much time I used on trial-and-error. But I guess it's never too late to learn and improve as content creator (Recently, I also discovered that using a bit of Famester helped me to level up my channel even more). I post content because I like it. I don't care who else does or doesn't like it. Not selling anything . It's free to post so I do it and it will be a record of my life for my posterity.
I wasn't hit or grounded and I was (am) a spoiled, entitled person. But I was cut off at 19 when I moved out (financially) and that helped me grow up. So I think that people can be raised with empathy and become a bit spoiled and entitled but be cut off at adult age and then grow up.
It's hour of talking with 3 points in it. - focus on yourself and learn as you grow - consistency and long term = you will be 0.01% who not give up - internet is full of free sources - learn! Don't look at 1h of videos like this one
