I have a hp envy 15-en1013dx and I need to know where the wifi card m.2 slot is located at as it isn't apparent when you take the back off and remove the ssd's and battery.
most hp laptops before the windows 11 announcement came with the tpm disabled since it wasnt useful for a normal consumer. you can enable it in the bios but newer bios versions just have it enabled by default if you update your bios
I had this model HP Envy 15 ep-0008na with RTX2060 since it's launch in the middle of pandemic (roughly 2+ years now). I've seen posts and ran tests on crucial's Memory Scanner and it identified max possible to install 64GB RAM, however, HP Support adviced not to install more than 32GB RAM (Windows also told that too) so I didn't. ep-0008na comes with 16GB RAM preinstalled and some sources clain that it can run DDR4-3200, but in the reality it can't run higher than 2900MHz. I've upgraded with Kingston FURY Impact 32 GB (2 x 16 GB) 3200MHz which can adapt to specific frequency when needed and they are now capped at 2900 at all times. You can safely assume you'll get 2900Mhz. It's viable to use as workstation with external monitor connected via HDMI or Thunderbolt (like i normally use), but you have to accept that fans will announce their presence very fast even when system is in idle state.
@@sadaktv7300 KL06XL, i guessing this battery fits into all 2020 models who have 83 wh stated. My Envy (ep0018no) have the same one. If you have 83wh, you can order this one. Cost roughly 60 euro here in europe
Mine came with the 512GB intel NVME M.2 SSD (solid state drive) which I replaced with a Sabrent Rocket 2TB M.2 NVME drive and I am super happy with it. There is a second M.2 NVME SSD slot so you can keep the original drive installed as well. There are no 2.5" drive bays. The fit of the new drive is tight with the original thermal pad as the 2TB drive has chips on both sides and the original one did not.
Thank you for the tutorial, I used it to clean my fans!
What screwdriver do I need to unscrew the case
T5 screw head

Could you make a video on how to put a tpm 2.0 into a hp envy 15 notebook laptop
your laptop should already have it... press f10 while booting to get to the bios (try other function keys if not) then look for tpm

I can't get that 2nd m.2 port to recognise a WD SN350 2tb NVMe
