I don't think anyone should care about the people watching while practicing. Those types of thinking stop you from progressing. The less you care, the more you do, the better you become. For now the hardest "trick" I can do is a noob method lol. Thx for the tips !
I have to agree to some comments here. The "Noob" Method may look shitty to experienced riders like you, but to average people in a public snowpark it still looks pretty awesome!
ThePhaaze I started learning them last season and they’re so fun but so hard to get down... I’m still trying to get mine tweaked enough to look stylish
Awesome video.. I like how your tutorials are more oriented toward the technicality of the trick rather than just showing yourself nailing them! and oh, Nic Muller has the best methods hands dowm
Such a great tutorial about how to do a proper method and everyone is so fixated on the "noob" comment...chill out guys, that was meant as a joke. And yes, the half methods do look horrible.
IDK A method is one of those tricks that you have to stomp to look good. I think Nev's kinda right. He's trying to teach us style too. and generally, the tindy zones don't look too good. I tend to do some mindys sometimes when trying japans and it doesn't look nearly as good. But usually, you can grab in the zone and make it look good if you tweak it too. the worst one is backhand between back binding and tail
Can't wait to learn this once season starts. I got a question i just bought a rome artifact rocker. Is it true riding a softer board is a bit more difficult to ride at first?
Softer board is easier to manage at low speeds but tends to chatter when you go fast. Jib riders love soft boards because they “hug” the jib more than a medium to stiff board would.
dude, the song...omg, were do I find it, just bought the complete series of videos and listened to the song (intro)....were do you find the file...Itunes? myspace? want to buy it. any link??
***** First of all, commenting that this step "looks horrible" is completely subjective. It is your opinion and has no place in a tutorial. Second, when someone is learning a trick for the first time, the last thing they should be worrying about is embarrassing themselves. This will only inhibit them from learning and improving.
the only reason ***** says this is for a heads up/a joke...id rather find out online that doing that looks dumb, rather than hearing ppl laugh at me from the lifts...when i first started hitting park i thought i had mad steez until i saw myself on a gopro and actually looked like bambi on ice. half method pretty much looks like this. www.jamspreader.com/wp-content/uploads/2013/04/tumblr_mai4tshqXF1qf6qofo1_500.gif
Aaron Tran Grab your board where ever you want dude. The video is very informative but what noob snowboarder has the ability to clear out a park so nobody can see them??? Really? How are people suppose to progress dude? Just go out and have fun riding... That's what it's about. God forbid I look ugly attempting a trick in front of somebody. SMH...
99% of the People in the comments are saying 'Dont let anyone see you, its a trick that only noobs do. Lmao' 1% of the comments are children saying 'Thx' or 'ThAnKs SoO MuCh I LeArNEd HoW tO MeThOd!'
While the core content of this video remains accurate, the Tramp board featured was an earlier prototype using a Burtons kids board. Good news! We've come a long way since then and now offer the best snowboard training tools available! Head over to our website (snowboardaddiction.com) to see our latest and greatest products.
Some horrible examples of methods right here. A method is not about the still shot. To me It's in the process of getting there. You guys need to look back a Terje, Jamie and Peter Line and put some more time in. The grab should be before the shift. Maybe you could just skate more, that would probably do it...

Same here, lol you can see me doing this noob move in my picture, and I am new to snowboarding.
I agree Dani V....
I thought it was funny.
Lol. Where’s sense of humor?
Of course you always train new tricks when resorts are closed.
😂😂😂

I'm average at snowboarding and they look like total shit
ThePhaaze I started learning them last season and they’re so fun but so hard to get down... I’m still trying to get mine tweaked enough to look stylish
if you manage to do that "shitty" method on a skateboard without early grabbing you are a fucking god lol
The raw passion behind "when no-one is watching you ride" is the greatest.
Im 40... I have some how lost my method over decades. After seing this, ill get them back! Thanks 🤘
don't let anyone see you progressing. only noobs practice and progress.
Such a douchey thing to say 😑
@@genew2278 i think hes being sarcastic in response to the videos statement about not letting people see you practice
instablaster.
Yay! Method is my favorite trick.
Never would I have thought that a grab would be one of the most difficult tricks I have learned.
Awesome video.. I like how your tutorials are more oriented toward the technicality of the trick rather than just showing yourself nailing them! and oh, Nic Muller has the best methods hands dowm
This is one I learned on my own in a few days at the hill, definitely looking forward to cranking it tomorrow!!
When i tried nose/tail grabs on a trampoline i found them to be a lot harder than a method and I learned methods weirdly fast
"when noone is watching you ride"
I prefer riding like noone is watching me all the time, just ignoring laughters or anyone telling me I'm a rookie ;)
Such a great tutorial about how to do a proper method and everyone is so fixated on the "noob" comment...chill out guys, that was meant as a joke. And yes, the half methods do look horrible.
The half method isn't really wrong or "noob" , it's just a method grab skateboarding style.
Sweet tutorial.. Hopefully I'll be able to crank'em out and make my Mehods look as great as yours once I get them down!!
Dope video as always. "Don't let anyone see you trying this step." Please, idgf what anyone thinks. I'm out here to have fun.
Thanks, really well put together video
Awesome tutorial, keep up the good work
Sweet tutorial. What's the burton board you're using on the tramp? Is that a kids board or a special training board? Cheers
Trainer
tried these for the first time on a 4 foot hip i was already spinning backside and it just naturally clicked got it first try

Lol i died at the, make sure no one sees you doing this trick. Only noobs do it. Don't let any one see you doing this trick lmao

Wow, what horrible advice from an otherwise informative video.

Where can I find trampoline place like that?
No grab zone! 😂 WTF. There are no rules in snowboarding. I’ll grab my board wherever I feel like it, especially if it’s illegal! 🤘
i dont think he gets it
Ehmmmmmmmmm
The noon method is an actual method . The cool one is called a crossbone
I wonder if anyone at snowboard addiction knows the grasser vs method history.
Damn I thought I looked cool doing the noob method but I reached all the way around and grabbed the toe edge
What are no grab zones and why?
***** Are you saying that a tailgrab looks horrible....? Why exactly...?

This is literally the goofy video flipped so they are regular
How hard is it to throw a method like really
Snowboard Addiction it can be hard to get the initial twist off the lip too, but this is one of the easiest grabs that looks sweet

A method was my grab trick...
method airs? ya better hope neil blender doesn't see this video
Is that burton board a kids board or a legit tramp practicing board?

A method is what you claim "noobs" do. A wrap around is what you're claiming is a method.
"Only noobs do it" lol
every one is a noob at some point.
