Hey, just got around to playing Vauban recently, and was wondering if there's any way to keep him alive other than just shield gating? I've been getting demolished when I'm trying to do solo sp runs and it's been frustrating :/

Just shield gate, only way to survive SP scaling which is bad game design

You can use ivara’s helminth ability to stay invisible during long runs

Since this build uses a lot of Range, you can try Banshee's subsume, that should help you out

@@dark-yato Most people arent even going to get to the point where they have to shield gate to survive anyway, vauban already has a built in option for a bit of tanking with his bastille cause it steals enemy armour up to a cap of 1k which lasts for 15 seconds outside of bastille but you can refresh it by just casting another one and standing in it. Other than that he needs rolling guard or some way to cleanse elements and he'll be fine.

What should I use if I don't like Bane mods?

@@KittiphanPongphan-er7bn you can always replace them with damage mods like serration but if you already have something like serration on you increase the elemental damage next, so you can add a 60/60 mod in this case for either elec or tox if you need more status chance, if not add the 90% mod in this case it would be infected clip :)

@@KittiphanPongphan-er7bn Yea very good choice! heat + corrosive strips 90% armor at 10 stacks corrosive and any heat stacks :) so yea its a very effective choice!

@@noahedenborg4221 nope, because of the AOE of the torid it's well suited, so if you take the flux rifle for example, it does WAAAAAAY less with vaubans 4
