    I’m trying this for next weekend. I can’t wait to have a reliable chain line again. Good video 👍👍

    Hi, i like your tensioner but would you do someday a model with a clutch like the one in derailleurs? Thanks

    I tried to mount my bike but unfortunately it kept slipping down and I couldn't secure it properly

    Just picked one of these up. Will it work on my hardtail as well as a full suspension?

      It’s a Nukeproof Mega Al fully vapour blasted to raw. It looks so good ! Some info about the build coming soon on our Instagram channel.

    what is the little grub screw in the back for?

    • @ReverseComponents04
      @ReverseComponents04  6 месяцев назад

      Hey christophgewinn2307,
      This screw supports the bonding when fixing the arm to the capsule of the Colab. It must not be loosened.

    I'm looking for a quality low profile SS tensioner for an endeared carbon frame with vertical dropouts to put some serious miles on. Unfortunately, there's a major lack of quality/reputable SS chain tensioners on the market.
    Would this be a good option for a gravel/all road build with the intention of riding thousands of miles on?
    Thanks!

      @@skylerschulze the Colab Chain Tensioenr should work well for this - what size rear cog do you want to use?

    • @skylerschulze
      @skylerschulze 5 месяцев назад +1

      @@ReverseComponents04 Well, seeing it's compatible with 13-17t cogs, I'd probably be running 16/17t. Higher if I could!

    What happens if you put a 18T at the back?

    • @ReverseComponents04
      @ReverseComponents04  6 месяцев назад

      Hey Faal1kanaal,
      it could be possible, that the pulley hits the sprocket. However, this also depends on the design of your derailleur hanger. Therefore, it is unfortunately not possible to give a general answer as to whether it is possible to fit an 18T sprocket or not.

    How do you get the 10mm gap between the cage and the bump stop? Mine seem extremely close, if not touching

    • @ReverseComponents04
      @ReverseComponents04  6 месяцев назад

      Hey Shaun, this is achieved by shortening the chain. The idea is that when the bike is resting with nobody on it, there should be some tensioner already there, pulling the cage away from the end stopper.This means when you are riding, it won't hit against it when the suspension extends back (tops out).

    What 1x chain can be used with tensioner?

    • @ReverseComponents04
      @ReverseComponents04  Месяц назад +1

      KMC Z1 Narrow is a good option, wide chains are too big to fit.

    • @fil_dmitriy
      @fil_dmitriy Месяц назад

      @ReverseComponents04 will try z1.
      But oil slick color prefer. Every 9-12s chain fitting?

    • @ReverseComponents04
      @ReverseComponents04  Месяц назад

      @ yes standard width 9-12spd chains will work, we don’t advise T - type

    • @fil_dmitriy
      @fil_dmitriy 28 дней назад

      I bought z1 narrow chain - doesnt work, because missing link pins wider and chain dont pass through pulleys

    • @ReverseComponents04
      @ReverseComponents04  27 дней назад

      @@fil_dmitriy Apologies , we have now updated this. It seems the split link design now used on the Z1 is wider than before, and won't pass through.

    you dont say anything about adjusting the 10mm space needed before fitting the chain....
