I’m in my sixties and I had that type of doll house when I was little and I absolutely loved it!
If I found one now I would get it and play with it🤪
I remember when I was little in 1960s my Mom used to take us to buy mini furniture wish I still had it all
I'm old enough to remember those clamp-on roller skates. It was very important to be able to run fast enough to avoid a face-plant after one of the clamps detached itself from one's shoe. Subsequent to such detachments, and for self-preservation, it was always a good plan to find something else to do.
Lol oh my
Lamp chop is handmade crocheted!! Lots of work in time spent in that cutie 😘
That dollhouse is similar to one I had in the early 60s. Haven’t seen one like that in many years.
I had that dollhouse when I was a kid. I've never seen one with the furniture still in it.
“If you’re ever feeling down about yourself, go visit the wood section of goodwill” 😂😂😂😂 that’s an inspirational quote you should make lol!!!❤❤
I loved it, too! 😂😂😂
Kind of like ,"nothing could ever be bad while in Tiffany's"!!
LoL
It is LampChop!!!! 😂❤
I have a punch bowl set that my mom bought with green stamps in the 60s. It was a fixture at family functions. I recently used it for a church event. Before that it had been used at my cousins baby shower. That baby just turned 22 lol.
I love the hand-knitted (or crocheted?) Lamb Chop puppet!
Those crewel pieces were worth going back through line for. Nice work by whoever did them I think crewel is one of the more difficult embroidery forms
I loved my tin dollhouse when I was little....in the 60's lol :) Have a glorious week everyone!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
That wood piece with the little girl hanging & the boys holding her is made to put on top of a door frame as a decoration. We used to make similar items and sell them at craft shows many years ago.
I was telling you to pick up lamb chop and you must have heard me! 😂 I’m so jealous!! ❤
I’m going to talk for a lot of crafters out there who I’ve heard feel the same way I do. When resellers find something super cool, but put it back on the shelf because it has a bit of a missing part or chip, such as the really neat bird that you found with a bit of the beak chipped off… Think about buying it, because people like me will buy that and we will use hardening clay to fix and paint match that beak perfectly so you won’t be able to tell it was ever broken. It just breaks my heart when resellers leave things so wonderful and unique on the shelf because there’s a tiny chip or crack. Even with wood. Minor cracks are very easy to fill and fix. I don’t know if that’s something you would want to think about but maybe take a chance once in a while and find out how many people would actually buy something that was slightly damaged. There are a lot of super crafty people these days. Crafty and innovative! I would have no problem fixing something myself that I would love to have and cherish. I’ve been itching to say that for so long now. Lol 😁
Yeah sounds like you are a control freak , not good for your mental health
I do arts and crafts as well but I don’t expect a reseller who deals in other categories to buy stuff to sell to me. I can easily source my own project pieces. You have to remember she has a living to make and broken crafty pieces aren’t the best money makers. Other people have suggested this but I think it doesn’t interest her and that’s fine.
She actually does get pieces like that quite abit though :) I feel like much more then Most!! But I think your input's also nice to know as well! :)
@@lonestar4374 I find your view very interesting. This is not an argument. I think that you and I must see totally different things. While she’s not opposed to picking up items with chips or flea bites when it doesn’t effect the value or detract from the beauty of the piece, I don’t see her strictly pick up broken pieces to sell for crafters. With that said, I actually purchased a bundle of small figurines from one of her shop the shop sales that had dings. These were pieces from baggies she had bought and sold the perfect pieces but had these leftover. I was thrilled to purchase these and give them home and a purpose. I don’t see her do this often. That’s my take. 😊
@mamaG4 oh really, guess I thought she had different times, but maybe not then. And no it's all good,I wasn't trying to cause any trouble :)
So nice to wake up to Jocelyn taking us to three Gw shopping trips. The lamb chop puppet was really cute; so glad it came home. ❤
Its really worth getting the punch bowl out 3 or 4 times a year. For one, punch is fantastic! You can do a sangria for the adults if you want to, but my grandchildren love the juice and gingerale!
I think the design of the rabbit trinket dish you saw reminded you of Aynsley “ cottage garden” made in England xx
Just gave my daughter a crewel picture I did in the 70s. It was an Erica Wilson design. Ever find her completed creations, buy them! I would have definitely purchased the two completed projects!!!
Hi Jocelyn ! I just love the cross-stitch( or needle point) kittens and framed flowers.Beautiful. Good eye, as usual.😊
I was hoping you’d buy Lambchop for Laurel. I see you did! ❤
Metal baskets are great for onions and potatoes ❤
lol Those skates at +01:10! They were NEVER functional! I skated on those when I was a kid (late 40's/early 50's). They were bone jarring! I always wondered why they didn't put rubber on the tires. Several years later they did. What a relief.
Omg!…The dollhouse!!…I had one just like that one with all the furniture included in the 60’s…I’d give anything(well just about) to have that in my life!! ….Also…you are way too young to even know who Lambchop is…Can’t believe you found that precious puppet!
I made those exact two crewel embroidery kits in the early 70’s. It was amazing to see that pair side by side! Wonder if it could be mine!
Wow, I have not been Goodwill shopping in a very long time due to bad health. I am shocked at the high prices and very slim pickings. It must be very hard to make any money from Goodwill these days.
I would have definitely bought the doll house and all the furniture
Lambchop was our dogs favorite toy. RiP Tux
I had skates like those growing up & you had to use a key to tighten & loosen them. That Lambchop puppet brought back soooooo many memories! Let us know how Laurel likes it!
Wow! Jackpot! Three Goodwills in a row in one video!🎉❤
I love the kittens in the frame and all of the oriental ware, its so pretty. Thank you for taking us.
Goat also stands for "Greatest of all time." So the sign might not be all that bad!
I had heard my Mom call my Dad a hateful old goat years ago. I am 60. I don’t think goat is meant to be nice on that!!
Yes! Those 2 pieces of art work, my mother in law used to do those. I have all of them.
@@ms.krueger2660 How unfortunate for your Dad but the sign didn't say anything about hateful just and old goat. So I think you took it personally which is understandable but it doesn't apply in this situation.
That’s the kind of roller skates I had.
I have my metal dollhouse. They go for so much on line. I might have gotten it, even with the pieces priced out.
I loved the old doll house.
We got a good laugh in the wood section of Goodwill yesterday. A wood sign red., “ Marriage is a lifetime sleepover with your favorite weirdo.”
Lol
Loved the two pieces of artwork, so happy you picked up lambchop puppet 😊😊😊😊
I love the turtle candle! Very boho looking, imo🐢🐢I also really like the dish with the mushrooms! Great video, as always. Thank you!
You just have heard me yelling, Arabia Finland!!! When you picked up the mushroom casserole dish!
I just sold a litho tin house like that a few months ago for $129.99. They paid $102 for shipping. I bought the house and furniture from local auction all for $20
One time I got a studio pottery mug from Habitat for a a dollar. It had a moon and like a sunset scene on it. Sold for 56 dollars back to the town it came from so lol.
The punch sets are great for bridal or baby showers!!
Those "cliff falls" wooden pieces are interesting. They go on the top of a framed doorway.
Love the Lambchop, let us know what Laurel thinks 😊
Thank you for rescuing poor little lamb chop...😇
Also, where is your booth?
Yes on the wire baskets. I have a thing for many things. He he
That large, black toleware tray on your first trip was worth picking up. 😉 The round one with roses.
I love Lamb Chop. I picked up a lamb chop stuffie and sold it to someone thinking about their childhood. Loved that green vase from China, too
Love your videos. I battle depression and seasonal depression and the videos help cheer me up.
Was this this week? What a yucky day! You are a "crazy" lamp lady! I am sending you hugs🤗.
I have such fond memories of playing with my metal dollhouse like that one in the early sixties.
Picture at 2:35 is Harlequin from the Commedia dell'arte. It could also represent the Carnival of Venice.
And isn't it interesting that people give away all those inspirational sayings ? 😄😄
6:49 - I have that exact souffle dish! Bought in 1971 at Crate and Barrel in New York, along with four mini-souffle dishes. Those are long gone. But this is wild! Good taste, Jocelyn!
I think the fish is a Heisey bookend or heisey by imperial, the clear glass flowered bowl was made by Lancaster glass co.(mainly found in yellow) .
At the first Goodwill, the green vase from china had a partial crack at a seam. Might want to make sure it holds water. And the floral crewel work you bought on your way out is from the 1970s. I sewed one myself.
I’ve got the same turtle candle, mine Is in green. I brought it About 1973 at some beach store.
I loved that blue turtle candle and would have snuffled that up for sure.
The soapstone hippo was appealing to me because I'm not likely to go to Africa & I have no connections there. Our priest is from there. Perhaps he'll source one when he visits his family.
❤ the turtle candle. From my days!
The marker or grease pen trend is just as bad as the packing tape! Found a Haeger vase they wrote the price on the paper label! Covering the date and catalog number! If it is on the item it comes off with hand sanitizer and a magic eraser, but it will ruin a label.
Rain!!! We need so much rain here in West Texas.
I love that you always grab a cart..irregardless !!
Lamby❤❤❤!!! You hit the jackpot 🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉
Omg I just bought that same exact green crewel at a thrift store in Florida for $5 😂😂
I don’t know why but I like to see you coming through the door and grabbing a cart. Lol! Love the Lambchop. I found one in the bins a few months ago. Children fallen off a cliff😂I think that too in the wood section some of the signs do cheer you up.♥️Like the Spaghetti dog, Art Glass Bird😍😍😍. I had that dollhouse when I was a little girl!
My daughter who now is in her late 20s was obsessed with Lamb Chop when she was little.
Is it just me or can anyone else NOT light the cute candles? Cut the wick down and you can barely tell that they are candles 😃
Great idea
Jocelyn, I used to have a Lamb Chop puppet in my French class - her name in French was "Mademoiselle Côtelette!" 😀
House Hippos are a thing now. You should pick it up to sell. The more unusual the better
Hi ya. Stay warm this week. Thanks for your time, motivation and video .😊
You were trying to think of Aynsley English Bone China (the bunny) 🐰 it really did look like it!!😊
Great score on the artwork. Those would be at least $30 here in Canada at our Value Village/Goodwill
I crocheted a Lamb Chop puppet just like that one in the 70’s.
Fun fact I was named after Lamb Chop’s puppeteer, Sherri Lewis. Also if a piece “made in China” is pretty and well made, I will so buy it.
I was too. But Mom spelt it a little different.
@@sherireynolds1410 ...and Shari Lewis's mom spelled it "Shari." 🙂
Wow to both Sheri's. How cool, and what a small world, for you both to be viewers here. It's just like Kate said in her Berner Bros. interview, it's about how these things connect us to memories! Just love this community!
@@GuyWithTheDogsI met her when my cousin was editing her cookbook.
From 1891 until 1921, imported goods needed to be labeled by Country of Origin - China, England, Japan, etc. After 1921, imported goods needed to be labeled "Made in Xxx."
I have been to Deruta Italy, the ceramics are very pricey , hand painted and beautiful.
Hey! I love the wood section but i always think about what it took to get that item from beginning to end. Thank you trees. 😅
Did i detect a new car? Lookin sharp. Your family is bigger now. Congrats❤
I had that doll house when I was a kid in the early 60s.
loved those last 2 pictures - ADORABLE!
You’re thinking of Aynsley on the rabbit. I’m English and I have several pieces of it.
Love the rabbit trinket dish. Easter is coming up. 💖
Lamb chop so cute !! I am shocked to see it!! I had a frog and owl candle when young that was similar to the turtle and I am 60. I loved them. When moving they got too hot and I had to throw them out.😱😢
Our goodwill in Ohio took away the colors of the week!
Wow,just getting worse huh?lol. Get all high priced, Then That
Nice haul, good variety of pieces
I remember having roller skates like those
Laurel will love Lambchop ❤😊
I just watched another PA reseller earlier today who found that exact same old goat plaque but at a different Goodwill lol
I think you were thinking of Ainsley - the English China !
My mom did the green one with the daisies and I gave it now in my home!
Great baskets , artwork was adorable Who does not love lambchop ? Alex would love those eyelashes !! Enjoy family dinner !! Thanks !❤ xox
You may have rain but here where I live in Switzerland we have cold snow day. Love watching your videos but we have no thrift stores here
Those metal baskets are great to use as planters outside!
Those wire buckets look like the 2 sizes they issue golf balls out at the driving range
Looks like my normal GW , not full at all and does not take long ,,, well there is always another day
Loved the steam punk skull you left behind!
Wow I love all you got ...
Great finds
That’s my brother’s channel, GR8 Finds!
Fun watching you shop
Im a sucker for Lambchop. Cute puppet
Bethany Beach is my happy place :)
When you were in the wood section you passed by a napkin holder I have been looking for….
Thanks 😊
Hi jostling uk lv Ann 🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧❤️❤️❤️
Hello have a great day 😊
That plate by lamb chop looked like bluebird porcelain which sells well.
