Dude's such a good songwriter. Since you've left this comment his wrote like 2 or 3 hit songs for people hahah. And no one even realizes it. Like some of biggest songs of the decade king of songs too.
He is one of the few singers remaining that has the same voice as his cd. Auto-tune who? I love this band, they did a free concert in Shreveport a few years ago, and I got to go! One of the best music performances--and I've seen some great bands!
Bought from Wal-Mart with the "kiosk "....already familiar with them and from TX close to LA....seen them 4 times now. Met them at LR Clinton Library opening....It's been "Good".....
I think it would be pretty awesome if the guitar player they hired and made stand stand behind the backline turned around to face the curtain and started rocking out like he was playing in front of 50,000 people at Wembley.
There Is A Guy In A New Orleans Saints BaseBall Cap Who Stays In The Same Homeless Shelter As Me... He Is A Creep And Is AllWays Up To SomeThing Bad... He SomeTimes Plays On An Accoustic Guitar And... Yes... He Emulates The Lead Singer From Better Than Ezra... To Pick Up Guys.
I loves me some BTE, but you couldn't be sane and compare them to the magic that was Zeppelin. John Bonham is one of the great rock drummers in the history of the industry. Jimmy Page was probably the only one who left something to be desired -- Jeff Beck referred to him as "fumbled-fingered" -- and even he was a badass songwriter and producer. NO WAY can you put BTE anywhere near the same league as Zeppelin!
I've seen BTE numerous times, and they still have it. They were my very first concert in 1996, and I've seen them now in 4 states. I hope to add many more states to that. They rock!
Saw these guys a couple of times back in the day. Got my CD booklet from Friction, Baby autographed by everybody in the band here during their famous post gig meet-n-greets. Very chill guys and always a great show.
love the band and the song... sounds like trouble on the bass and guitar though. Dunno if it was electrical fluctuation or maybe they were drunk when they played. But It's good someone posted this song, I was looking for it a couple of years back and couldn't find it.
I saw them in concert in December '06 (I think) and it was weird, definitely so good, but Kevin's voice sounded higher pitch than it does in the recordings. I wonder if he was sick, just a fluke, or maybe his voice records a little low? It was so strange, but everyone I was with agreed. His voice sounded higher and a bit whinier.
@LuigiFan25 DO you mean from the cd on youtube? I think they lack the "star power" of other bands. Definitely underrated--I couldn't name but one friend who likes them beside me or even heard of them. However, if you want a studio performance to buy or what not, it's on their greatest hits.
This is a great band. Unlike nowadays when an artists performs they rarely sound like they do on CD...these guys sound almost exactly like they do on CD. So do a lot of 90's bands. Awesome musical decade. :)
one of the most under-rated bands ever. these guys deserve more credit!
Damn straight!

I love this singer , love this song and I especially loves when he breaks on down ;)

Same, bought it. CD
Bought from Wal-Mart with the "kiosk "....already familiar with them and from TX close to LA....seen them 4 times now. Met them at LR Clinton Library opening....It's been "Good".....
Great times!🤘
these guys are so great, unlike the musicians now a days who are only on the radio because of the voice altering software they use.
Some of musicians now cooked their songs so hard. 😂
That song rocks and the live performance makes it that much better - Thank you for the killer post!
Saw them at George Clinton's club "The Moon" in 1998 in Tallahassee when I was a student at Florida State. Good times!
Fuckin Amazing
Incredible recording! Wow!
Its a 20 year cycle i think, the 70s had some awesome music as well
the best thing is to close your eyes and just simply listen to the music before opening your eyes and naturally criticizing the band

I got laid in 2001, because I liked "Better Than Ezra."

I was at this concert. They sound even better live than on the album.
Been into these since ‘96 (discovered them whilst on vacation in the US), if they had toured the UK they’d have been huge
Saw then live at a free outdoor show in the 90's in Grand Rapids, MI, been hooked ever since. They rocked our downtown one evening..what a great time.
I was there too! So good.
Absolutely underrated band
Said nobody ever.
i love this song!! and the band ofcos! :)
I've seen them (4) times. One of the best bands around, ever.
great sound quality for a live show!
I've seen them (4) times. One of the best bands around, ever. They don't make them like this any more....
Saw these guys a couple of times back in the day. Got my CD booklet from Friction, Baby autographed by everybody in the band here during their famous post gig meet-n-greets. Very chill guys and always a great show.

I liked King of New Orleans, but Long LOst was my fave. When they were still good...what the hell was up with that 'Robots' CD?
@Pittimus84 Its a 20 year cycle i think, the 70s had some awesome music as well
No lip synch or fake instruments here. Real deal boys and girls .
