I learnt the guitar because of this song. The chords are just 3 (C, D and E), and with adding a 4th g chord you have practically mastered quite a number of guitar strums with nice tunes. This song is an example of one of them. Now I can revert back to an original born punjabi as I should have been which i never practiced a day in my life lol
Being a Malayalee, I don't know Punjabi. But, it touches my heart and feel like crying when I hear this song keeping my eyes shut. It takes me to the lovely moments I had with my love of my life
For some reason this song makes me feel very nostalgic! It reminds me of my past, things if done, people I have met and places I have been to.. Makes me want to re live the past once more
I swear it happens to me as well , I miss someone whom I havent even met this song gets me flashback of places , situations I have never been ( happy memories though)
hats off ayushman yaar..you are one of the rare talents we have in film industry..you have created a masterpiece in form of pani da rang..One of the songs which will remain in my songs list forever..thanks man once again..
I just love this song sooo much but don't no why. May be coz It's tune composition is amaizing, like we feel like he is saying than singing but never feel a gap/stop when stanzas shift happens. Plus beautiful words and lyrics. Deep voice singers rocks in these kind songs. Bass guitar too rocks. Best song for a solo performance.
Tears rolling down my eyes Akhiyaan = Eyes Hanju = Tears Paani da rang..............Rud de..Means; Seeing the color of water, tears roll down my eyes my lover didn't come, my beloved didn't come.. seeing the glow of the eyes, tears roll down my eyes..

the problem with our music industry is not the music...but the quality of lyrics which is a dying art. How many students you know who took pride in having degrees in Hindi, Urdu or any other indian language, literature and liberal arts. Without these we cannot have good poets. India has become a country of Computer Programmers and MBA graduates. Kudos to this song for its soulful lyrics.
