I consider myself a chef in training, but wow was I shocked. I did exactly as you said but sadly, it didn't come out looking as good. I'll keep you updated for the next time I attempt this again
@@jibbab_yori Talking about cream cheese, I'm from Germany and we also have the brand 'Philadelphia' cream cheese! But the packaging variety is so different in Asian countries than what we have in Germany :o Much prettier too.
The Philadelphia brand cream cheese in my fridge right now is pure white, not a hint of any color at all. Our butter tends to be less yellow in the US than other countries because of differences in cultural expectations that cause ranchers to change the feed additives in livestock like how Europeans seem to like dark orange egg yolks so their farmers feed hens color additives made from marigold flowers while Americans like light/bright yellow yolks so our hens get a different mix in their feed. That's why if you raise your own chickens your eggs can look very different even over short perios of time because one chicken ate a bunch of flowers and the other ate more bugs.

Is vanilla oil different from alcohol based vanilla extract? I'm not always 100% sure about possible translation quirks. I've never seen vanilla oil before.
In simple terms, vanilla extract is more like a concentrate than vanilla essence. There is no big difference because both can be used with both heat-cooked and non-heated products.
