Try spending time on practice setting up the car and use simulation for quali if you’re trying to save time. Your drivers will have a higher confidence level from a better set up and track knowledge by doing all three practices. This will naturally make your quali speeds significantly better

you can see the calendar in the design menu you dont have to cancel the project. There is a small menu included where you can see the time to each race
If you use deploy at the start of the race your drivers will fight harder to hold positions you might even gain some positions
Idk if its important as it's still early in the game but I devoloped parts with other parts in mind. I made an underfloor, which is slower on straights but quicker in the corners and focused my sidepods on straight line speed to offset the new underfloor it seemed to make a quite a bit quicker expecially ik quali.

I'm playing with Haas, I'm having a hard time managing the qualifying when I encounter traffic. Usually, I try to wait as much as I can then I send them out but it depends, it's different for each circuit imo.
I got a double Q3 appearance for both, but they do not have enough pace lol

u do know u can use ers at the start of the race instead of having it at 90% plus for the first half the race, especially when you knew rain was coming anyways which would allow more battery to be saved🤷♂️

I’ve noticed if you do two flying laps as a run plan in quali the second is almost always faster than the first.
I’m guessing it has something to do with the tyre temps. Maybe they’re too cold the first lap and in the right window for the second because you’ve done more running?

tbh, considering this isn't the full release yet, its not yet the 31st, the game might get a big update on full release with the actual car perfomances in real life.

Brooo you need to use the track graph to properly see the level of water on track so you can strategize better! You should be able to see the level of water on track and figure out if it’s work switching to wets or stay on inters
You could have used the track details tab to see how much rain was expects

i wouldn’t use all the ers or else you put yourself at a disadvantage for the rest of the race
@@alfiemccormack7988top up helps, get into a cars drs and use top up and aggressive tyres. Drivers like lando can go aggressive for a while as long as you balance it to not overheat
i got lando to p11 in quali in saudi whit no upgrades

You can just use the same worn tired throughout the whole qualifying, there’s no time difference between 100% and 80% soft doesn’t appear to make much different to my qualifying position in game either. Obvsly a glitch but when you’re starting as a shit team an extra couple of sifts help
