Price action is of Imperfection. We need to react and not to expect is the one important point every second we need to tune in the mind.
Dear Rolf, I have watched dozens and dozens of your videos and I find them excellent. This one in particular, if it wasn't for the horrible images (especially the ones at the beginning) it would have been one of the best (if not the absolute best) of all of them.

What all you have said is 100% true. Even if the result is 60%, that is more than enough. Never try to over complicate or keep making changes to the strategy. We only mess up things, when we try to make it a more prefect strategy which does not exist. As lot many times the volatility is too heavy on both the sides and hence hit the stop loss, so it is better to cut the losses and call it a day.
This is the video that we all wanted somewhere in our hearts when we did the price action so well but still got the loss.

The problem about price action is that we are trying to interpret randomness. Simple as that. Support and resistance is an illusion.

Yeah those deep pull backs are no joke when you see you were just up maybe a couple hundred then it’s pulling back and you’re watch all the profit slipping away so you get out soon as it gos red but suddenly it takes off in the direction you were positioned for. So frustrating

I know it works. I trade options I would really like to learn forex, but dont know what kind of mountain i would be climbing..I guess I did become profitable fast in options trading, but studied for 6 mos, and lost money along the way.

How do you know that your rules actually work in the long run or not? Just because you follow rules, it doesn't mean you'll make money.

but what if you just "set it and forget it" on every trade you take with favorable risk to reward, shooting for a win rate of 50% or higher. Like 1:1.5 and make sure every trade you will roughly lose around the same amount of $ or win the same amount...i.e -$100 or +$150. Do you think this could work?
i tried 😻 but 1:1.5 become 1: 0.5 after brokerage, exchange charges, taxes 😭😭😭
winrate is not enough, also you should consider that good system should have lesser fail trades in a row. Unless your mentioned profit factor will not be enough to cover them losses
