What I like about you guys is that you discuss the hunt like we all would do had we conducted the hunt. It gives me the feel of being part of it. Sometime you should show the PREP of the set up of the stand as well as the hunt and the follow up discussion.
Great video's guys!! Great shooting as well. I was a long range rifle instructor for 43 years. I'm retired now and just started hunting coyotes. I've done a lot of extreme long range ground hog hunting for the last 50 years. Longest shot was 1820 yards. It took four shots. My bud two week later shot one at 1830 yds in three shots. Take care, flea
I hunt the hard woods of coastal North Carolina. These eastern Coyotes are VERY SMART. They have heard every yahoo slob hunter who thinks and E-caller is a replacement for field craft. Either way I hunt every chance I get. I try to keep all my sets at least a mile from my truck. I make sure my gear doesn't make noise as I move from set to set. This year will be my third year since I have moved back home and I still haven't shot my first coyote yet. The catch is I think i'm getting smarter and learning more with each season. I take notes and try to learn why something doesn't work. Then I try to do different things and mix it up.. Its a lot of trial and error since I hunt by myself. So far I don't use pup distress much because I think every coyote in this half of the state has heard it so much they equate that sound to danger. I'm trying more to mimic the sounds of the animals on the farms I hunt close to. I still haven't bagged my first one but I think I'm on the right track.

Find out where they are, leave ALL of your calls in your truck, and bring your rifle and a handful of patience. 8 hours beats 3 years. It worked for me in PA. Eastern Coyotes are not western coyotes. Different habitats make them react and move differently.
Excellent video as always. I wish we had some open terrain like that here in TN. Most of the dogs I kill are really close with a shotgun. I only get to see them for around 5 seconds at best before the trigger is pulled. Watching your videos really does help me visualize their behaviors even though my terrain is different, and allows me to setup accordingly. While I would love to have the opportunity to watch them come in from 500 yards, there is always a trade off. You fellas can have those sub zero temps!
45 and 60 Grain ER Raptors from Cutting Edge Bullets, out of about 150 Coyotes this year only put holes in 3, and they were our fault because of shot placement... www.cuttingedgebullets.com Be sure you ask for "STACKHOUSE" tell her I sent ya.
Good myth-making at the very start with impressive opening credits music and slo-mo shots. Thank you for letting us see the hesitation of the coyotes. It put doubt in our minds: will our heroes succeed? Will the coyotes come in? Ever? Good. I see you are using bolt-action rifles. Is there some place where you have written your opinions on bolt-action rifles vs. semi-automatics? Especially Modern Sporting Rifles (MSR's)? Thanks!
Here and you guys talk about how smart dogs are getting. Take it from me try this two mouth calls at one time plus using Electronics in between they can't stand it they're complying in to cottontails a cottontail jackrabbit try it. You have some memorable experiences I guarantee you. I can't do it anymore I was doing it from the age of eight till around 55. It's fun I miss it immensely.
your trigger man must have grown up shooting lizards with a BB gun and squirrels and/or rabbits with a .22LR 'cuz that first coyote looks like he got it in his left eye socket ; ]. you Boyz need to get sponsored and get some merch............
Since everything you do is suppressed why don't you try 45 ACP near the call, further out the Salvo 12, and then let Keith hammer all the squirters that getaway
Ive Been Watching your vids for a few years and they never let me down! Great production!! Amazing hunts and my favorite part is how real you guys are! Yalls coyote hunting videos are the best out there by far. Keep it up!
Once again great footage, what is the noise I'm hearing in the background? Cows/highway? Especially at the 16:10 marker area.

I don't have written opinions on either platform... I prefer bolt guns, but an AR will also work well for certain applications.
Thanks so much! :-)
