Thanks MJ. You have a natural gift for teaching. It is so easy to learn from your videos. Please keep going and I hope to eventually see a dedicated website where you teach for a fee as there is nothing out there! Thanks again
+twesigye boaz You can get away with just knowing the basics of calculus for the majority of the questions, but some sections will require a high understanding. But best to brush on your maths now as it will come in handy with the rest of the exams.
NirajC72 I've passed all 8 CT exams and CA1, CA3 and ST5. At school I got the highest marks for maths/statistics but at university I was at the class average.
NirajC72 Yes. Got my ST9 exam coming up and my Fellowship exam, so going to make some videos on them as part of my study process. But afterwards I plan to get back to making the CT1, CT4 videos and then I want to start CT6 and CT8.
This video is far weaker than the previous one on CT1 Chapter 1. There is no clear indication about what part of the equations displayed you are talking about at the time, and you do not clearly explain what any of the variables mean.
+MJ the Student Actuary I understand that. I don't have an issue with the lack of depth, rather the video structure. There is a lot of visual information that is not linked to the speech.
+Fuck You Google yes the visuals are my old study notes and contain all the information. I'm just giving a brief summary and aiming to highlight the key concepts. ment to be a mere introduction to the chapter than a full lecture.

+MJ the Student Actuary I'm planning to do it with out multi variable calculus knowledge. What do you think???
Oh yeah that stuff went way over my head at uni, I'm not sure how I passed it. Yeah you don't need that for the exams
hey mj which exams have you passed, also wanted to know how good are you at maths/statistics

thanks for the reply, what sort of maths is needed , integration, algebra...?
will you be making ct6 videos?
NirajC72 Yes. Got my ST9 exam coming up and my Fellowship exam, so going to make some videos on them as part of my study process. But afterwards I plan to get back to making the CT1, CT4 videos and then I want to start CT6 and CT8.

these videos are just summaries that I've made as a student. please consult a qualified teacher for a better explanation. :)
