This is only a half wave (simple) amp... As your power supply is only 0 to +12V, only the positive section of the audio will pass. The negative will not. Audio has both. You would either need another set of BJT and a 0 to -12V supply (push-pull/class AB) or a voltage divider to add around 6V to the input so both halves of the signal could be amplified (class A).

Muito bom para montar. numa plaquinha de circuito impresso. Basta ter um kit para circuito impresso. 1 furador de placa - riscador cortador de placa, uma prensa q vem junto com o kit. É so imagiar essa ideia e fazer o citcuito. Para isso, você precisa de percloreto de ferro e caneta para desenhar as trilhas no circuito.O percloreto de ferro, pode ser pacote pequeno 250grmas que da para vários circuitos. This is a pretty cool demonstration of how simple an amplifier can be. But it’s really not very useful. First, it’s low gain. Most transistor amplifiers have a voltage gain stage as standard transistors are limited to gain of about ten to one. Second, this is a class A amplifier which means that the transistors are always on, sucking current and making heat. Third, the input impedance is very low which taxes the input source. I would be very careful plugging an expensive smartphone into this amp and trying to crank the volume. Having said all that, it is an impressive demonstration of minimalism and an analysis of the circuit would make a good basic amplifier tutorial.

An excellent example of how a REAL MAN'S PTP amplifier is made. So what if there's no circuit overload protection on the amplifier itself. Personally I don't even need potentiometers, only an on/off switch. As for "protection" circuits, build it (or them) either in combination with or separate to the amplifier as a PTP circuit and most importantly build it right.... Well done mate, clean and clear professionally planned and executed build.. Keep up the good work. I will build another like this myself once my valve monster is reborn.. >8-D
I think he thought that because he connected the same power to both transistors, they would emit a single signal, this would be true if base, collector and emitter were all interconnected, which is not the case.
Of course these speakers would have to be correctly mounted to prevent back radiation from mixing with front to prevent phase cancellation. Need more info on the toroidal coils such as wire thickness and amount of wire turns. Good video, Thanx

It's not a class A or a class D, it's a dumb amplifier which supply continuous dc to the speaker, your speaker will burn soon if you use this
If you want to build a small amp just use LA4440 ic for single supply or TDA2030 for dual supply

1 . 50-60 turn / .5 mm copper wire. Toroidal ring.

The toroidal doesn't really do anything in this device. It appears to be some sort of low pass filter.
