Excellent clear footage, i especially like the starting line shots where the camera pans to see the entire length of the pass instead of just the standard rear end shot of the pass going away.
my Lord those C7's make a sexy looking race car!! From streetcars to pro-mod bodies it was love at first sight!! It seems like they don't even have to do a ton to them to make them streamlined enough to run with those duck-billed camaros and all the other stuff that you can't really tell if its a Camry or a Taurus lmao. The sound quality of these videos is so good I've been cleaning all morning long and just let it run in the background. Id rather listen to these passes than the radio any day. Zoomies have always sounded out of this world but the new monster cubic inch motors through those Peterbilt size bull-horns have changed the sound at the track so much and I absolutely love the sound now
just amazing how fast they are now going on a drag radial and I believe they cut them back to 1/8th mile for safety due to them running a drag radial because I would think that the mph they are running at the 1/8th is probably close to the limit of those tires safety-wise.
john schroeck you can run 1/4 mile but very few put on a 1/4 mile race that is radial prepped I think the World Cup finals is the only race that is prepped the whole 1/4 mile of a radial

So enlighten me please as to why these cars can ONLY run eighth mile sir.
FlyByGy I’m referring to you should build a radial vs the world car and run it quarter mile and safety and cost is why they run eighth mile most of the turbo cars have a two speed transmission and they will need to buy a new transmission or keep the two speed not make good passes and the blower cars are already hard enough on parts to run them 2 more seconds like they do would result in more maintenance than usual with will cost more in parts and the cost of fuel would be doubled and trying to run 250+ on that tire is dangerous it wasn’t designed to do it
