This ep was so emotional. Both Thyme & Gorya' feelings were valid.
Iris is the flower associated to MJ just like Black Rose to Thyme, White Cutter for Ren and Hydrangea for Kavin. That's why F4 is the flower four 😊.
It’s easier for Thyme to take care and get down to Gorya’s level but it’s hard for her (in her mind) to be “worthy” and be equal to Thyme, even though Thyme only needs Gorya and nothing else. Gorya is pressured and balancing a lot for someone who is still in high school. Picking up extra jobs to support her family, taking care of her brother, her friends, and didn’t know how she can properly support Thyme when there’s a blaring difference between the two worlds. Thyme says love is enough whereas Gorya thinks it’s not enough. It’s sad but their love is strong! ❤️
The difference between Gorya and Thyme in this situation, is that both have reasonable points, but in two different ways.
Gorya has been stomped on by life so many times so far and she can't take it anymore, she thinks that everyone should be "back where they belong" and her realistic view of things, is making her think that love actually isn't enough, even if she cares about Thyme.
While he is the complete opposite...since he got to know Gorya, he started to grow hopeful for a better future, her love makes him better and it makes him feel invincible, that's why he always chooses to never give up on her, despite how complicated everything became since Lita's introduction.

The cameras were all flashing on Thyme's face he couldn't see properly that's why he grabbed wrong hand ...it's not that surprising...In Korean version Junpyo did the same...
Nanon's real dad is playing the character of Kanning's father and his real mother is playing the character of Kavin's mother in the series...
You guys are very right...Gory too has fallen for Thyme really hard...it's not gonna be easy for her to see Thyme with Lita..I am really excited about that though...
Thyme and Gorya are made for each other...The best thing about this version is that Gorya is very much expressive right from the start unlike other versions...
Guys it's not like Thyme and Lita are together.. remember in Korean version where Junpyo went on date with his fiance Hashin although he didn't want to actually and Hashin was just continuously trying to win his heart.. Junpyo just couldn't say no to her because she was a good person ...I think here it's gonna be the same.....
While Taking care of gorya and Glakao thyme has changed so much. He's showing compassion for the girl he's not even interested in. Means he's starting to care for people other than gorya. OMG OUR BOY HAS COME SO FARR😭♥️
This episode freaking broke my heart. Just aghhhhh the pain and betrayal in Thyme`s eyes when he knew that Gorya had texted his family. This type of betrayal from Gorya have never happened in any of the former versions. This was Gorya making a choice, to kick him out of her life. My heart is crying for both of them because i understand both of them. #ThymeGorya

I saw a few coments (very few but I got triggered) somewhere saying that Gorya lost her fighting spirit like in other versions and basically being mad for her choices this episode (disappointed i would say maybe) and i would also prefer if at least she didnt do what she did behind Thymes back, but I would like to say something about her not fighting.
Her conditions now, are not the same as before. Right now, she doesnt have her parents with her, her brother too, she's alone, finding part time jobs to survive alone, thyme's mom hates her and is the reason why her parents had to go away, thyme is going to get married to Lita who she's friends with now, and has this guy saying a lot of convenient stuff (for Thymes mom lol ) that makes her feel bad, have low self esteem, and doubt herself value in this situation.
She's only a teenager in case people forgot about.
If you expect her, to have the same mentality and strength and fighting spirit that she had before everything happened, when she had all her family members with her, and probably the only thing she had to worry about was studying, you are just being very unfair with her character. Because nobody would maintain the same after all of this.
She has been fighting for this for a long time now, and instead of things getting better, they only get worse. What do people expect? Just because she's someone who "fights" it doesnt mean that she will never have vulnerable moments and sometimes wants to give up. If she's always okay even after a lot of shit happens then it's not realistic.
I actually think she needs some time to process things and get a pause on all of this. Its going to be good for her mentally. She's been into this mess for a long time now.
Some people are asking her for too much. If this was reality, some Goryas out there would have given up when their parents lost the job, some of them would have probably accepted the money offer i would say, some of them would have given up right after the marriage was announced, even with the "fighting spirit" kind of character, because having that is not enough to go through a lot of shit. She lasted for a long time honestly.

Their situation and decisions are very realistic, and that makes this episode more painful. About Gorya, she tried to hold on, she even said Thyme is stubborn so he will find a way. But after meeting Lita, after knowing her, how similar she is to Thyme in terms of personality, the way they think how suffocating their life is, the way both of them want to escape it but can't do anything because they still care for their loved ones despite their bullsh*ts...she gets insecured and that seed of insecurity that was planted to her the night the engagement was announced just grew bigger everyday, realizing how different their world is. For Thyme, his side is also painful. He's just starting to get better, he's trying to live and try the other side of life he didn't get to experience and it's becoming his comfort, his home. But his main lifeline is Gorya, that's why even if it's exhausting to balance his work, the pressure of engagement and him worrying how to escape, he's trying so hard just to be with Gorya, just to be with his family. A family he didn't get to have, so when Gorya pushed him away and basically threw him like a meat to hungry hyenas, he felt betrayed because not only the love of his life is taken away from him, but also the family he's going home to, the one he's seeking love and refuge for the past months, the only reason why he's still holding on no matter how hard it is for him.
Both their sides are valid so stop hating any of them. As for Lita, if only any or both of them made it clear that something is going on between them, she wouldn't fall in love with Thyme or even if she did, she will keep her distance and even try to stop the engagement and support them because we know how Lita is, this episode shows how kind she is and also I've watched other versions and no, she's not hiding behind a facade, she's really nice.
Another thing I think Gorya is thinking all this time is that if she wasn't there, if she's not existing or if Thyme met Lita first, the probability of him falling in love with her is high, that's why maybe she keep pushing him to her.
Argh! I've gone through this a lot of times (2 versions already) but thid is still so stressful and painful.

I actually cried during that conversation with Thyme and Gorya and tbh I sided more with Gorya but I understand where Thyme is coming from, they're truly from different worlds and I liked how this episode showed how she was basically a nobody in Thyme's world, she actually thought it through the whole episode and experienced how different she is and made a realistic but heartbreaking decision to make it easier for Thyme and herself since the poor girl has so much on her plate and I felt sooo bad for Gorya especially when Lita was confessing her feelings about Thyme and I saw on twitter how she fell in love with Gorya's Thyme (his best version of himself) 😭 but I love them together so much and want them to be happy, and his relationship with her brother is precious, Bright and Tu's acting was absolutely phenomenal sooo impressed.

The scene where Kanning and Kavin video called Gorya, made me laugh so hard! I literally said, "I'm dead!! It was like Gorya was in a totally different world from the rest of them."
That episode was so freaking heartbreaking but also so gooood, like Bright and TU legit ended me on that fight scene...not enough tears really

The secret story of iris means the story of Mj. As Mj is iris. We see in the opening f4 are the different flowers and the flowers with MJ are Irises.
Im sorry my comments will b all over the place I'm not trying to comment so much i just can't hold it in ahh so much to sat But the betrayed look thyme gives gorya when he realizes she called his family.. OMGG😭😭 Pain. He said she will protect him and in the next scene we see her texting 😭 Also loved how they addressed the situation how a kid would feel when the parents are fighting. As gorya is the motherly figure to glakao now and Thyme's been around taking care of him. His expression broke me🤣🤣 But Thyme's becoming more and more mature which i Love. The way he dragged gorya out cuz he knew they'll end up fighting but didn't want glakao to hear any of it but obviously things escalated. I'm again in tears. I bet ep 10 is Going to be more painful and I'm jot ready😭😭
Thanks for the reaction, love watching you react to this show. Just to let you know the ending scenes with MJ and Gorya was subtitled you might have just needed to turn the subtitles off and on again. I would highly recommend rewatching that part again as I believe we might get more parts like this for MJ's back story and I'd hate for you to miss what's going on.

LIKE FINALLY SOMEONE SAID IT. I'VE BEEN SCREAMING SINCE THE FIRST EP THAT RENGORYA ARE SOULMATES ON A SPIRITUAL LEVEL. PLATONIC OR ROMANTIC ISN'T IMPORTANT.
my poor girl gorya, there's no winning for her, is there? she just keeps trying and trying so hard. when she said 'I'm exhausted', my heart broke for her. she did the right thing though. as an adult, you can see where she's coming from. I'm glad she ended it at this point too. she has so much on her plate already, she can't afford to add onto it no matter how much she loves thyme.
also mann, as much as I want rengorya to happen I don't really want them going that route. I'm better off with them as friends. It would include too much heartbreak for ren and I'm not ready for my boy to get heartbroken the second time around. :((((

Lita said she's been studying Thyme do you think she already knew about Gorya before hand? I agree that this was emotional but I think a lot of people also forget that they are also still in high school. Everything they are going through especially Gorya is extremely challenging and exhausting for someone her age to have to deal with basically by herself. By the way Dee I loved the blue hair, and Christine you don't have to look like someone is poisoning you every time you drink water. Matty your dancing is life and Ken I hope you one day find something showing Dew is on your side.
As I started off not being a huge fan of this show or Thyme…..I can say that I really appreciated this episode this week! From the character development to the realistic elements showcased in the relationship between Thyme and Gorya…I fully admire what route the writers and directors decided to take for this episode! Despite the drama and the start of new drama that is going to be the cause of my stress…I am looking forward to the next episodes!
But can we give it up for Ren for quite honestly being THEE BEST BOY this episode 👏🏾👏🏾 Taking the time to be a supportive friend to both Thyme and Gorya while they were going through all that shit. Like the man he is 🤌🏾

The problem is either thyme or gorya they both didn't explain about their relationship to Lita, i know that they're not in official relationship yet, but surely there's a thing between them and they know it, so it's not Lita's fault if one day she possibly fall in love with Thyme, especially now Thyme is really kind to everyone and Lita never got love by other people, she didn't even have a friend. If they told about their relationship, Lita could be prevent her feeling to Thyme, but they didn't, so if she truly fall in love with Thyme it's not her fault
Also about gorya, actually i kinda hate it she like just give up with their relationship but i like it too because it's pretty realistic, the more she knew about f4 stuff things, the more she felt the different between their world, and she knew it's gonna hurt. Also she already thinking about this stuff like different between rich people and ordinary people since the beginning, even before she know f4, that's why she think it better to give up. Even if they're still want to fight the one who's got hurt the most is her, because thyme learn about gorya's world is easier than gorya's learn about thymes, so what she did is pretty realistic even i don't like it at all
You can't blame Thyme and Gorya for not telling about their relationship to Lita. Love just happens nobody knows about it likewise Thyme and Gorya too were not at all expecting Lita to fall for Thyme in the first place....I really don't understand that why people are saying this...

I love your guys' reactions so much! Thyme and Gorya's communication scenes give me life since it was always of issues with me communication in the other versions. The feeling for family and friendship coming through too. Can't wait for more Kavin x Kanning scenes. If you guys haven't done it yet or want to, you could watch the Story of Iris again before beginning episode 10 so you could get better sense of the scene. There are subs for this scene.
There was no backstory for the mom if I remember correctly. It had been years since I read the manga (it could of be in there). But it would be so interesting if they did. I always have felt that the mom was just a plot device in the other versions, but knew how to turn up the intimidation factor.
All the things that will happen next episode will be the consequences of their actions and decisions on the past episodes. I can understand the characters and all of their feelings and actions are valid. The prom happened in the manga.

Bcoz she loves Thyme. In previous ep, while Ren and she did a date, she still think of Thyme. It prove she aleard fall with Thyme. Ren is her friend who she is comfortable to talk to.
