- This video came just in time as a follow-up video to our last roll race run vs the Subaru WRX STI! Figured I would go ahead and post this one back to back for all those thinking "but from a dig...." (c'mon I know you are thinking it) LOL. Well, not an STI but next best thing. A good driver in a lightly modded newer WRX. Heads up off the light. Got a good clean run and stayed in it for a while.

i mean yeah the genesis engine is almost twice the size in displacement lol. still amazing to see a flat 4 turbo make power like that from factory . even though the factory tune isn’t the best
@@BCyyGaming This WRX has the 2.0 engine, so the Genesis has more than twice the displacement. And it's a lot more expensive.

Closest I've ran so far was a stage 2 APR GTI on a roll. But nice numbers bro that's gotta be close to or over 4 crank. It's all power to weight (and gearing)

What color is your Genesis? And how did you get those Horsepower numbers? Have you had any issues with transmission
Genesis was black it's gone now. No issues with trans while I had it.

Well I mean the genesis has close to 100hp more, more torque and also is an auto vs a manual trans
@@motortoys9942 If you look at the rough numbers its basically a tie. 310hp at 3400lbs is 13.45sec quarter vs 375hp at 4100lbs is 13.44sec quarter not quite 100hp difference. Really close though. Manual should help the sti too. These times assume manual perfect shifts and perfect launch. On top of it autos of this age are much less efficient than the newer ones
