British time ki parliament building bahut old ho gyi thi.... usme IT related fittings sahi se nhi ho paati thi. Ceilings ka plaster bhi drop hota rehta tha . We the public can watch all the sessions of the politicians in both Rajyasabha and Loksabha. Abhi to many of the supreme court ke sessions bhi live stream karne shuru kar diye hain. Highest levels of transparency are a fundamental pillar of our democracy.

British time ki parliament building bahut old ho gyi thi.... usme IT related fittings sahi se nhi ho paati thi. Ceilings ka plaster bhi drop hota rehta tha . Different parties ko discussion rooms kam pad jaate the. Parliamentary works ke liye jo staff and officers appoint hote hein unke office ke liye space bahut kam ho gyi thi. Many more issues were there.

Regular visitors are allowed to witness parliament proceedings on regular basis. Foreign visitors, members of foreign missions, those who are interested in or prospers of the new laws are also invited. Every day lots of visitors witness parliamentary proceedings. This is important so that common people witness how laws are made and how their interest is protected!

Very nice and above all with very original Indian architectur and furnishing, not seen any where else. There is one thing that no body has mentioned and that is the outward simplicity that leads the unsuspecting visitor in to a very complex and beautiful interior. Most European parliaments are splenderous outside but average inside, like westminister in UK and the Hungarian parliament in Budapest. India manages to both fool you and thrill you. India will continue to grow as long as they can keep the corrupt and decadent Congress party out of power.
