I just got a s10 blazer 1988. I sold my k5 and was looking for something different. It's only the 2.8 but that's fine. It's still "MINT"

Helical gears work differently at applying torque in a differential than standard spider gears. Thats why it seems like it "unlocks." Its not really ever locked up or engaged

Yeah idk how to explain it lol I'm not that smart. Just had a couple people ask if it spins both all the time which it does so I threw this together to show that lol.

I'm just a cave man. I fell in some ice and was later thawed out by your scientists. Your "helical gears" and "locking" or "unlocking" - they frighten! and confuse me. They make wanna get out of my F150 and run into the hills! or whatever. I'm just a cave man.
But there's one thing I do know! and that's that the EATON Detroit Truetrac is a genius design. Signed, Kirok.
