I think a great second honorable mention is the carving with... well the same exact builds. It is a common weapon used in the same way with splitting smash and does extremely well open world. Less cc, more damage.

Yo McGee I'm using Light Crossbow, Candle, Mage cowl, mage robe, soldier boots, stew and invi pot. If i find someone gathering on foot I simply go back pop in order: boots > cowl > potion and go all in. In 75% I easly kill gatherer with almost one-shot.
I know that the cursed staff is easy to shut down but I've been using it on CDs and I'm yet to loose a PvP fight, I guess people don't expect to need a invincibility skill in a CD scenario?

Why assassin jackets for all weapons? There are others that are more suitable for some weapons. Assassin jacket is also hard to use good in a fight(not gank) situation
Versatility/flexibility because you can change between ambush (gank, kite some buffs or potential damage in certain scenarios, escape , etc) and infernal shield (just fight and brawl ability that will help you win most trades)
@@DetherocD would it not ne better, atleast for spear, to use merc j? Dont get me wrong, i got pleany of kills with assassin jacket, but mostly in pure gank situations.
Btw what do you think about using 1h Spear build but swapping boots and cape for Demon boots and Undead cape? i stole that from Equart's Carving Sword open world Build and i really like that extra mobility when pretty low... together with undead seems pretty hard to catch if i have to bail... wich i think will be the case most of the tmes

Like leyvi just made this video few days ago, and so did someone else. I know it's in preparation for the new update that's open world focused. But that is it ironic and funny to see all the same videos pop up xD. Still prefer yours thou since you don't drone on and on when explaining things with that RUclips speak.
Hii u made a vid for doing 100 solo 6.1 dgns ,u did them in 8.45 min per dgn So can u explain how u do them in such short time cause it usually takes around 17-25min per dgn
Yea as a bow player who uses reflect on hunter hood, it’s how I kill axe and scythe players. All I do is hit them hard until they pop their burst spec and then I hit my reflect and they basically suicide themselves.
I watched the video again after I did some openworld pvp by myself, and the video is very helpful. And a question come up to me that, I notice that the hammers have nice q spell comparing to mace, and has a w spell for mobility and cc. So is tombhammer or great hammer a choice for openworld after the 1h mace get nerfed in the next patch?

And today I tested another small change on the 1h spear build, I found out that cripple is not pretty reliable but it is good when you have one friend with a fiend cowl, and I found that stalker hood gives us good potential on both ganking and killing small scales fast enough. Thanks a lot for providing the idea of making builds.

i think dagger pair are also good for ganking but you need a second person to dismount them + the second person need to have fiend cowl with purge.

why mage robe? It`s useless for ganking. You should better use druid robe since it will boost your damage which will result in 1 shot kill.

There are better weapons in this exact video that can do the same and better. But as long as you have fun..go for it

I use 1h spear with dead cape ando Demon bots and have Nice rates with it.

They are ok but much better for duos. They lack damage even compared to maces
