    Transmitter not turned on?! You should ALWAYS have the TX on before plugging in the main power on any RC.

    Turn the transmitter on first. Tighten up those blades before you break something.

      @@RobinAchoeJr He is right though, you may need to tighten your blades a little. They might lead and lag too much, to the point where it can cause ground resonance, and can turn from good to bad instantly, for added insurance that it doesnt happen, I would advise you to tighten them suckers up. 😉

    • @RobinAchoeJr
      @RobinAchoeJr  3 года назад

      Absolutely not! It’s a Toy!
      Inertia from the motors spinning at top speed rapidly will keep my balanced blades at 180 degrees at take of and landing, that’s why it’s a run switch to start the spooling up process of the blades and to stop them after landing (blades are always at Max velocity against the ground “ram” effect. Improper maintenance and poor flying condition for an inexperience rc helicopter pilot may see the results you speak of but not me. Maintenance is Key!
      Thanks for watching like and subscribe for more rc videos coming soon!...

      @rcaviator8408 3 года назад +1

      @@RobinAchoeJr Ive seen some pretty bad ground resonance on spool up and shut down from 450 sizes. Loose blades can also lead to boom strikes upon harsh manouvers. Tighten them. Ask all the helicopter guys, they'll tell you the same thing as me. This is from expirience. You might save yourself from a very bad failiure. Take these as words of advise. Im not telling you to do anything, but the fellow above is right.

    I can’t wait to get my up in the air, but I want to ask you, did you balance and set your blade pitch when you did your setup ??

    • @RobinAchoeJr
      @RobinAchoeJr  3 года назад +2

      When you get it up in the air hit the record button!
      No I didn’t balance the props. I trust that Eachine sent me well balanced props for flight, and the pitch is already set, but I did check to make sure that each ccw and cw prop was all the same pitch for a balanced flight. I can hover the quadcopter at eye level with my hands off the sticks outdoors with minimum trimming. Indoors is a whole different story because of ground effect in indoor pressure.

    • @RobinAchoeJr
      @RobinAchoeJr  3 года назад +2

      But I’m not a quadcopter guy, I fly helicopters more. I’m learning and practicing with a Traxxas Aton Plus.

    • @RobinAchoeJr
      @RobinAchoeJr  3 года назад +2

      My bad I thought you commented on the Eachine X220.
      Yes I go through a complete blade checklist before flight and test it several times in idle for tilts, flutters, and speed variations with the current voltage level. You can create your own checklist or find a decent checklist off Google and helicopter groups.

    Very beautiful flight ! What are home and 3 D mode on this transmitter ?

    • @RobinAchoeJr
      @RobinAchoeJr  Год назад +1

      “Home” is when the gps takes control and returns near the takeoff location. “3D mode” is when the head speed increases, the helicopter feels very loose and you can make it so flips, and tick tocks in the air with practice (practice in gps mode first in a very open space like a football, baseball field.

    Your blades aren't tight enough they should be tight, so when you move the blades, they shouldn't be that free move the blades they should turn when you spin 360 degrees if they don't your too loose.
