Yes if you want to be specific to the U.K, the 2025 model year Z4 has been available in the U.K. for about 4 months with a manual, I believe around 25 sales total. The U.K. doesn’t specify model years just sale years. So they are 2024 sale units and 2025 model years, outside of Europe the first manual orders will be either in the last quarter of this year with the majority next year. Yes good point, it’s 335bhp for select European nations, and then world markets get the power boost which I didn’t say in the video 👍
Nice one, well worth holding on to as I'd imagine it will be as in demand next year as it will be in 10 years. We all know we aren't likely to get a repeat. Yes 2019 was a watershed year in my view, its the first time the USA (and world) have been given the better version of European cars, historically the opposite, with the rare exception like the U.S getting the manual in the E60 M5 👍
Very true. These guides are to let people know ‘anything and everything’ that gets ‘commonly’ reported, but a common report in the automotive industry is between 0.5-1% of production. Over 4% would be a major issue and possible recall. If you look out for the problems I mention and don’t find them you should have a better ownership experience, which is why I spend so long researching the issues for each guide, it isn’t to scare you away, is so you know what to check and then go on to enjoy your car 👍
@@themilesdriven it's fantastic what you do. I really appreciate it, does make you worry when you hear it out loud though. I really wanted an f type but I've been put off by all the reliability issues. I'm not a wealthy man particularly. 2019 tts seems a smart choice to me.
I appreciate the compliment, and yes I know it's always going to be a little off putting, sometimes I start making these guides and go through a full spectrum of buying emotion, excitement, remorse, enjoyment, enticement 😂 After I made the F-Type video a couple of months ago (worth a watch if you haven't already) someone asked me if they should buy one. My question back, there is a difference between 'want to drive' and 'want to own' which one is you. (a mate had 4 TT models, always spoke highly of them) there's a guide to the mk3 TT on the channel too 👍
@@budwise7332 I had a 3ltr 6 cylinder F-Type and whilst it looked gorgeous, the quality was a long way off the Z4. The boot tiny (as a convertible) and it is big and heavy by comparison. The V8 F-Type is a real hoot & I might have forgiven its quality issues but I am a BMW man.

Love my 2020 Z4 m40i.
Never missed a beat and always gets complimentary comments.
Several errors. Manual Handshalter package available 2024 in UK - not 2025. Plus 380BHP from 2020 onwards is incorrect for EU/UK markets.

@@themilesdriven Thanks and yes, small numbers of which I make up one. 2025 model year is correct. Pity we don't get the full fat version like the US!

Quite a lot of issues.
Wait till you hear about the issues on every "reliable" car ever made. This list is small.
