I know that these people work very hard for a living by sell food , maybe I am seeing to much into this ,but the health authorities must teach them about the importance of handling food I mean all foods in a very sanitized way , what so hard about telling them to wear a proper shirt ,hair nets ,gloves ,and keeps the storage space clean at all time .Don't tell that is part of India culture,food is a gift from like everything else and should be treated with respect.
My coworker is from Bangladesh, he never use spoon when he eat his lunch even in working place ...he said the taste of the food will be different if he use the spoon.
