Things like this are why I LOVE my Apple Pencil and iPad as crafty tools. You can take a photo of the wall and draw right on top of it to plan a mural, or take a photo of your mural when it isn’t looking right and draw on top of it to see what would fix it.
If you do a floating or vertical shelf situation I think a real draping plant like English ivy would look super cute and add some nice contrast to the mural💗
