    So I created a family reunion event on Google events, it already had an RSVP tab on the template, my question is how to I attach the RSVP form to that tab. Every time I try and click on the RSVP tab it just brings me to the Google Forms link. I trying to be able to click on the RSVP tab and have it bring me to the RSVP I created, how do I do that? Very frustrating...

    Hello, quick question.. will I get an email once they submit the survey? Also thank you, this video was tremendously helpful to me.

      Hello! Glad you liked the video. You will not receive an email when they submit their survey. I typically just check each morning how many responses I have if I have an event coming up.

    Hello I would like to Limit my events to the 100 first. How can i do it ? Thank you for your help

      Unfortunately there is not a way to do this with google's standard forms app, however, you can download an add on that allows you this capability. This is called a "Form Limiter Add On" and can be found by simply typing in "form limiter add on" into a google search and clicking on the first link which is a Google Workspace link. I have included a direct link below for those that don't mind clicking on a link, but I wanted to include how to find it yourself if you are nervous about clicking on direct links. Hope this helps!

    Can a QR code be generated to direct folks to the RSVP? Lastly, this is a dumb question, but is this considered a "Google docs?" Thanks for making this video tutorial.

      Hi @leascaart! Thanks for your question! The short answer is yes you can create a QR code, but it’s not through the RSVP page. You can share your RSVP form multiple ways, one of which is creating a link that people can click on to access it. You can create this link and then use a third party (I use Canva) to create a QR code with the link.
      To find the link, click on the arrow that looks like a paper airplane in the top right of your screen. This is the send button. It will open a pop-up that says “send via”. Click on the paper clip and this will show you the link. I like to always shorten the URL by clicking the toggle box next to “Shorten URL”. Click “Copy” and you will be able to use this link for your QR code.
      Lastly, this is considered a Google “Form” meaning that the templates will all be centered around collecting answer like a survey. You can find them by going to the main menu when you are in Google Chrome and selecting the purple “Forms” option. All your forms will also show up in your Google Drive.
      Hope this helped!

    I want to add hyper link & google map location in google form then how can I...?

    • @strength_first_fitness
      @strength_first_fitness  2 года назад

      In edit mode, Under your RSVP title there is a description box. You can put in here information about your event (I suggest, date, time, gate codes, address, contact info, etc.). Here is where I would add a hyperlink to Google maps. Just type your location into Google Maps, click the share button, click on copy link. Once you have this go back to your form, click on that description box, type something like “Map:”, paste the link, then hit enter and you will have the hyper link. If you want it to not show the link and be a phrase that is a hyperlink, type the phrase you want, nightlight it, and then click the link button (looks like a chain link) on the bottom menus of the description box. This will open up a dialogue box that says “Add Link” then has a line to edit the displayed text (what your guest will see) and a box to add the hyperlink. Click “ok” and it will add it in. Google forms auto saves, so once you are done with those steps, you are done!

    So how do you check the rsvp list of attendees? In your email is it? Let say I have a huge events like couple of hundreds people to invite

    • @strength_first_fitness
      @strength_first_fitness  6 дней назад

      When you have people respond to the event, you will be able to see who has responded. You click on the “Responses” tab at the top. This will show you all of the people who responded, but you want to know who said yes I am attending. When you have clicked on “Responses” now you will see a new view. Under the row of tabs, you will see how many responses you have received. This will say “X Responses” next to this will be a green spreadsheet icon (for Google sheets). If you click this you will see googles version of excel housing the responses to your questions. Now you can filter the data to see who said yes. I hope this helps!

    Hi I’m order for people to respond do they have to have email?

    • @strength_first_fitness
      @strength_first_fitness  2 года назад

      No, there is an option in settings to turn off email capture. Click on “settings”, click on “responses”, and toggle off “Collect email addresses”. If you do this, make sure the name category of your RSVP is required, otherwise you won’t know who RSVP’d. Hope this helps!
