Very hot take for a lot of people, but I did genuinely enjoy WW2 zombies. It had a really strong start with The Final Reich. Very solid atmosphere, both guided and hardcore easter egg to start with, and it overall felt like zombies. The wonder weapons were alright, not the best, but not the worst. Being able to buy ammo for any normal pack a punched gun at the machine was a very nice addition. It didn't feel too difficult, but didn't feel too easy when you were getting the hang of it. The way this game did Operators is exactly what I wanted to see Cold War do. You have a set cast, but you aren't forced to play as them thanks to the unlockable characters. Seeing a variation of this in bo6 threw me back to this game. The Final Reich started off incredibly strong, but that's about the farthest a fair amount of people got thanks to The Darkest Shore. Not the best zombies, but I do find it extremely underrated
