Hi Bharath, Yes, you can do both the options. Above 57, every Indian citizen is eligible to apply non-ECR with age proof. Also, you can go for ECR passport. It’s not an issue

You have to learn first... ECR is not about age. It is about your Emigration check. If you have completed 10th then you will not be called ECR that means you are NON-ECR. DON'T CONFUSE PEOPLE
Laraib non ecr means emigration check not required and there is four category for non-ecr , first for 10th or more education, second 50 plus age and third children below age of 18, fourth all gazetted officer of india. And required document change with category to category. Please improve your knowledge.

In Maharashtra they are asking for birth certificate for above 50 too. You can get it done by her birth place nagar Nigam easily.
