Hong Kong Airport Express 港鐵機場快綫

After arriving in Hong Kong, I always take the Airport Express to get into town. The Airport Express can reach Central in around 24 minutes, stopping at Tsing Yi (青衣) and Kowloon (九龍) Stations along the way. Free hotel shuttles are provided at Kowloon and Hong Kong Stations. Otherwise, you can change to taxis or other MTR lines to reach your final destination.
Tickets can be bought as soon as you clear Customs. I recommend getting the 30 day return ticket if you are visiting Hong Kong for a short time, which costs up to $180. Airlines like Cathay Pacific or tour operators may sell these tickets at a discount, so please keep your eyes peeled!
The Airport Express is operated by MTR (港鐵), which operates numerous lines in Hong Kong such as the Island Line (港島綫), Tsuen Wan Line (荃灣綫), Kwun Tong Line (觀塘綫), Tung Chung Line (東涌綫), Tseung Kwan O Line (將軍澳綫), Disneyland Resort Line (迪士尼綫), East Rail Line (東鐵綫), West Rail Line (西鐵綫), Ma On Shan Line (馬鞍山綫) and South Island Line (南港島綫).

I think the train slowed down near Sunny Bay is because it needs to make a crossover on the tracks at the points just before Sunny Bay. I think MTR could try to add two more tracks so that trains can skip Sunny Bay at quicker times to reduce waiting times which increases train frequencies, including Tung Chung Line services.
