  • This is part three of a three-part lecture entitled the Foundations of Qualitative Research 1. The materials were created by Virginia Braun, Victoria Clarke and Nikki Hayfield; the lecture is narrated by Victoria Clarke.     I really appreciated the encouraging words at the end. I have reflected upon your questions:
    I am drawn to Big Q qualitative as I am an artist.
    The social context of my research is fairly rigid, I am certainly interested in the individual experience.
    I am drawn to the Hermeneutics of empathy, There is reason to be suspicious, I am researching creative expression, the data is already leading me to interesting places.
    I view language as reflective of underlying experiences in the context of my research.
    I am interested in social justice, particularly in the domain of accessibility in music technology.
