"Is it possible to receive real-time updates in my Power BI Desktop report directly from the MySQL table without manual refreshing? I'm seeking a solution that doesn't involve publishing the report online. I am running mysql in my laptop only. Thank you."
recently there i additional data under add row to dataset , consist od workspace, dataset, table and Payload. what is this payload. do we need to put his. n i try ,my flow, the running flow timeout. why it take so much time?
Not sure if this will help you, but we replaced Grafana with Power BI connected to Snowflake using direct query and we set report page to refresh every 5 seconds
@@marcing3364 Thanks for the tip. Polling from postgreSQL to Grafana was fine, so I guess I will try with Snowflake. Too bad that I haven't found a way to show it in Power BI live!
@@cellentmaya1533 I was also struggling with live data streaming, but with direct query it works fine. I tested and data in Power BI was almost at the same time when new data appeared in Snowflake
@@RADACAD I was trying to replicate this solution and found some bug, I replicate all of the steps, problem is when I open my report in browser and then in other browser tab I will fill new MS Form data will be visible in my PBI report only after manual browser page refresh, I suppose it should be done automatically, is this a bug or maybe I did something wrong ?

This video explain the fundamentals of how live data can be captured, stored, and reported. Thank you!
you're welcome
This video gave me a detailed flow of how live data can be captured, stored, reported, published and refreshed in real time
glad it was helpful
Thanks for making it clear about the real-time steaming dataset.

Hello did you solve, I’m in the same situation
if in any case there is any change happened in past data how that will be handled
Can we build real-time dashboard with Google Sheets Source in power bi
?

Thanks for the video. Question: How can I pull streaming data being saved to a postgreSQL table and show it live in power bi instead of using Grafana?
Hi Cellent. I have the same case. Have your reached a solution?
@@mohamedkorain871 Still looking unfortunately. Thanks anyway. Please let me know if you find a way.

This is great content. Thanks a lot.
I like and subscribe ! :)
Thanks a lot! Great overview👍👍
Glad it was helpful!
Is there a way of implementing the same without power automate?
Yes. you can call the Power BI Rest API with any other applications, C# code, PowerShell, third party applications etc.

I think this is because you have a hybrid dataset now & if you pin the same data in dashboard, it will give you the desired result.
Have power bi calls ?
Yes with ADF and ssis

Thnak you
