That’s something I’ll never understand I never want to understand about selfish and narcissistic people. they Think it’s OK to treat somebody poorly and act in their life like nothing happened. But when that same person they treated terribly somehow getting some sort of form of success or some form of happiness the same selfish people try to swoop in and take whatever it is. Like where were you when this person needed you exactly this person was never there now was that and they’re demanding handouts for the fact that they’re supposedly “family”.

It isn't good to compare children, but no one can deny Karen's children aren't anywhere near Nancy's son because look at the parents who are raising them. They are around because Karen and Bruce had an affair, their grandparents are money hungry, their mother only cares about her looks and lack of status, and their father can't accept he's not as smart or talented as he thought he was. Also they have no bond with other relatives in their family.
It's not their fault, but you clearly see the difference between a healthy family and a toxic one.
Even though we don’t see how the kids actually act just from the small scene you can tell both of Karen’s kids are brats probably from their mother

As far as i can see, Karen did Nancy a favour. And because of Karen's interference, Nancy is leading a much better life; a high level career, a much successful husband, and a wonderful family life. Nancy was able to build herself up too. She would have led a miserable life if she had married Bruce. In a way, I'm glad karma got back to Nancy's biological family. As if they were expecting something good from Nancy after all they did to her.
