I disagree. He’s very execution heavy and his mix is unsafe since you can armor through his gaps and punish his -15 or so low launcher. Also, his enhanced neck snap switches your controls so you have to learn your combos backwards, which is harder than it looks

IDC what people say but Havik has been top tier since day 1, you don’t go from worst character to S tier because 1 move to extend combos; Hes always had the best toolkit in the entire roster but because he’s a setup character & not a combo character everyone said he was trash. Yeah his combos didn’t do damage but it’s very easy for him to tag you & convert it into combos no matter the position; Yeah Raiden might need 3 to kill vs Havik needing 5-6, but its very easy for Havik to start those combos from any position be it on defense, offense, zoning or retreating. You can’t be the worst character with the best normal in the game, insane pressure with safe strings, Safe lows & overheads, mid combo command grab, roll catch to guarantee reset, great projectiles, 3 hit armor wake up for 25% health; Stop following YT tier lists & play the character, he’s always been solid.
Cap…before the buffs havik found it hard to open up a player due to underwhelming low starters and trash overheads and when he did the reward was no where to be seen. Also, his zoning was wack( STILL IS). He also had the worst armor move in the game back then due to its long start up(yeah it did damage) but flawless blocking made it unsafe
He has not been too tier since day 1. He didn’t have fast armor, nor the low overhead mix like he does now. He got 2 new moves which gave him combo potential and mix finally. All he had were some ok normals with no dirt. He was bottom tier for a reason. If you think he was op before, only use his og moveset and tell me how that turns out pal.
