This is gorgeous and gave me all the feels. Vanessa will adore it. You put so much thought into this. When you called the Pom poms dingle berries I couldn’t stop laughing. How special is that! I think your handmade, with luv, cookbook gift, is awesome, and will surely be cherished as a family heirloom! I luv all the personal vintage ephemera. I am happy that you made this video...because everything you said is the truth. I've been making journals for years now, and I have even made a retro cookbook very similar, and posted a video, but I still wanted to watch yours. I totally enjoyed it and was inspired by it too. Most of the arts and crafts that are shared here are not new, but that's not the point. I feel the point is getting inspired, learning, teaching, and sharing,. Everything I've created here, I learned from others here, but is still your own original work of art. I really luv this supportive YT community of talented and kind crafters! Wow, thank you! I have been watching your channel for years and love all of your creations. You are so talented. Yes, the beauty about art is so subjective! I am just starting to find what my style is and surprisingly it seems to be that old tattered look. I thought I loved colorful, sweet and cute but the more I explore, I lean towards tattered, old, worn look and love it! I will look for that video of your retro cookbook, I watched so many I couldn't recall! I am just finding the time to create like I have wanted to and loving it. I have worked so much and gone to school and now its one job and home and no homework either! Life is so relaxing now! Thanks for watching and especially thank you for your feedback! Well, it’s on my to do list to sell some items on my Etsy but I just finished graduate school last year and am just becoming acclimated in my new position. @ 9:49 there is a “Chicken Broccoli Bake” recipe on page 46, then there is a lasagna recipe on the next page. Are those recipes from the 1965 Better Homes cookbook?
I’m sorry, I gave it to my daughter and really don’t know. I’m guessing that either it’s as old or older because I did get most recipes from vintage magazines. However, there were some that my mom cut out from the late 70’s and early 80’s. Thanks for your comment and feedback! 🙏🏼❤️
