    The most cat action in any vacuum video plus references to: Huey Lewis and the News, Star Trek, Austin Powers and Pink Floyd. Beat that, Vacuum Wars😊

    Great video! Can you tell me what cleaning solution I can use for either of these robot vacuums? Thank you

      I think you can use any robot cleaning fluid on Amazon. Probably just some white vinegar added to water would be fine too

    2:30 The T20 method sounds better, one is to get the mops wet, the other is to clean them often so they are clean and do not just push the grime all over the house.

    Hi, with the current amazing deals on x2 omni and being a x1 omni user, we were thinking of ordering x2 for a different floor. But some reviews have raised concerns about its navigation, that it fails to follow a straight line and does random navigation at times. Has that been the case with you too? Thanks!

      @vacuumnerds  9 месяцев назад

      It does not go in straight lines like some other vacuums except along wall edges. Regardless, it still picked up the dirt. I don’t think it’s random, but the way it’s programmed.

      @@vacuumnerds ok thanks. In your opinion, is the cleaning performance equivalent to x1 omni?

      I have not tested the X1 omni, but this is a newer model.

    Considering the new release of the Ecovacs Deebot T30 Pro, are you going to make a new video comparing this new model with the X2 Omni? I would be more than interested ❤

      T30S vs X2? That's not a bad idea. Also - I've got a T30S video coming in a few days.

      @@vacuumnerds AWESOME 🤩 I’ll be more than interested for that video/review regarding the T30S and more than ever on the T30 Pro versus the X2 Omni.
      I currently own a X2 version after the X1 and still interested for that comparaison.
      Do you know if a X3 version is in their plan?

    My question is, can this robot heat the mop or does it just rinse it with warm water and clean it afterwards? My assumption is that the mop rinsed with warm water is cold after 2 minutes and then the mopping is less effective.

    • @vacuumnerds
      @vacuumnerds  4 месяца назад +1

      It heats the water to 158F, but the pads are not directly heated. However, you can feel the mop is pretty warm when it leaves the dock. The water in the onboard tank is warm when it leaves the dock too. You can set how often you want it to return to the dock and wash the mops. However, I don't know any robot that heats the mop pads, so if that's what you're looking for, it's possible some manufacturer will offer that in the future.

    I almost bought the X2, but too many negative user reviews. So i went with the Dreame l20.

      You made the right decision staying away from the x2. It was AWFUL

      @MrJason2143 Good to know. Melinda, has been perfect. My floors are spotless and I don't have to think about her, nor interact with her at all. She sweeps and vacuums everyday, mops twice a week, avoids obstacles and cords perfectly.
      But I don't like Dreame Customer Service, They rub me the wrong way.
      Fortunately I bought the 3 year extended service plan from Allstate, so I don't have to deal with them.

    Does it work in multiple levels of the house? Is there a way I can program it to work on the upper floor of my home too?

      Yes, I have a 3 level house. You can map 4 or 5 levels iirc.

      Navigation is similar between them. Almost every robot vacuums have trouble with cords, but the X2 is a little better than most.
