- A Main Hobbies Derrick Threatt & Dee Thao document the trip to the IRCHA Jamboree and the entire 5 day event chronicling the world's Largest remote controlled helicopter sport gathering/tradeshow in the world. Action packed, informational and emotional.
The International Radio Controlled Helicopter Association (IRCHA) was established as an organization by the pilots, for the pilots. IRCHA works to promote the continued growth of radio controlled helicopters through education, representation, service, and special events. Radio controlled helicopters are a dynamic, evolving segment of the AMA and as such IRCHA works closely with the AMA to foster growth and acceptance. Through these endeavors, IRCHA hopes to provide its members with the opportunity to enjoy the hobby, make many new friends, and expand their intellectual interests.

Man, this reminds me of accidentally discovering Alan Szabo flying a Trex 700N over a pond ( /watch?v=ZQADStpyRn0 ). The quality (filmed from an Iphone) of the video isn't the greatest but I could not believe what I was seeing. I watched as many videos as I could that night and have been hooked since. Cannot believe I have had rc trucks but never tried helis or planes until just this year.
