Haven't played Elden Ring before but I can tell you 2 things about this fight: 1. Her name is Malenia 2. She is the Blade of Miquella Hard detail to spot, I know.
I feel your pain, that one super-fast attack is her only attack that I cant compete with. Fighting her is like fighting a sekiro boss, super fast attacks and delayed attacks that go into faster attacks
He's right about waterfall dance. It's all just about running away. If you can't get a hit in at all it's not an intuitive attack. Just a full stamina breaker and almost impossible to parry. 33:45 I love it
Nope, you need to evade the first part and then kinda dodge into it in the last part of the Waterfowl Dance(but make sure you're not too close to the edges at that point), it's literally designed to bring players out of their comfort zone but has also strong similarities with some pretty notorious PS2 games bosses.

Hit quickly once or twice and retrieve. 5. Trigger the waterfowl when she has about 70, 50 and 25% of health. 6. Run away the first two waterfowl attacks and then roll under her. 7. Try not to break your controller.

Your build absolutely sucks.
I decided to fight Malenia with his exact build just to see it in action and it is god awful it took me a few hours to beat her because his damage output and defence is so low especially for a melee build. I don't understand why he never respec in this fight... It's so frustrating to see him blaming the game and Malenia when it's his build that's causing the issues... 40 strength and 35 intelligence with a 22 arcane RoB is just baffling. (Edit) Yeah building your character in every stat just doesn't work in ER unless you're a ridiculously high level where you can put like 60-80 points into everything or as you said for a challenge.
Fun fact: there actually is a way to manipulate Malenia into using her Waterfowl Dance. Once you take out about a quarter of her health, run away and just use something like throwing daggers. She will input read and dodge them, and once she reaches a certain distance to you, she will jump up in the air. She should still be far enough away from you, though that you can just run away from the first two flurries. After avoiding the first two flurries, roll into the third flurry, and then roll left and then roll back. By doing this, you will not take a single hint of damage. This is how I typically dodge waterfowl. Now I’ve never tried dodging it point blank but I’ve been told there is a technique you can use. Just untarget her and start walking around in a circle as she’s doing the attack. After I think you can just roll out.
I think what this video tells me about Mr.Pchooly is that his rages he has in these rage comps must be after hours and hours of deaths and failures. Compared to what the rages make him seem like, he was super calm and patient in this.
Took me alot of tries my first playthrough, till I figured out she don't like big swords, and I told her I didn't like that waterfowl stuff, most times I died was because I panicked lol

@@shawncarey8927 He's referring to the fact that the soreseal does a percentage of bonus damage to you. Therefore, the higher your vigor stat, the more health you lose from using it. If you are low level, soreseals are pretty good, but the higher you go, the worse impact it has on you.

Soreseal negatively effects almost all builds past 50 vigor which is pretty necessary for malenia
