Sharing Dr Berg Notes on this important episode:
Cancer originates from normal cells. When something harmful happens in your environment, it can potentially create destruction to the mitochondria in your cells.
Damaged mitochondria can no longer provide energy to a cell, and the cell is forced to use a different energy source. Now, we’re looking at a cancer cell.
When mitochondria become damaged, and a cell turns into a cancer cell, the cancer cell becomes immortal. It also produces inflammation, and it seems to grow and spread into areas of inflammation.
Mitochondria have many more functions than just producing energy. In my opinion, to reduce your risk of cancer, you need to reduce your risk of developing damage to the mitochondria.
Natural ways to decrease your cancer risk:
    1. Do intermittent and periodic prolonged fasting
    2. Exercise
    3. Get quality sleep
    4. Socialize
    Thank you Dr Berg! 🐱👍

Add eliminating seed oils to the list. Seed oils muck up mitochondria and take 7 years to detox once you stop consuming.

    • @dannyboy218
      @dannyboy218 7 месяцев назад +13

Cancer isn’t caused by damaged mitochondria’s, it’s caused usually by á mutations of the cell growth/replication genes that makes the cell grow uncontrollably. Usually all cells (expect neurons) have á biological clock that determines when they replicate, where skin cells do it like every 7 days or so, the cells in your intestines every 2 weeks or so, your heart cells I think replace themselves after like 7 or 14 years. But with cancer it can replicate itself nonstop, sometimes creating copies of itself every couple of weeks or months or days. That’s why some cancer cells like skin cancer can spread so fast. Now every cancer is different but it’s usually caused by an error in its cell division genes that affects the cells cyclins and cdks (cyclin-dependent kinases), proteins that help regulate the different stages of cell replication within a cell like the G1, S, G2, and mitosis stages. Not saying mitochondria doesn’t play a role in cancer, but from my molecular cell biology class in my undergrad degree of biology taught us cancer is mostly caused by some gene error of the cell replication usually targeting the cyclins and cdks of the cell. Usually caused by chronic inflammation, genetic errors at birth triggered later in life, or exposure to things that damage dna like uv radiation or carcinogenic agents

    d) eat items like turmeric prepared in hot fat like coconut oil, and black seeds, cinnamon, oregano
    e) of the 21 meals a week atleast 5 should be salad based on greens n other veggies
    f) intermittent fasting and practice upto 3 days fasting in one go

I hope you find peace and healing - whatever that may mean for you. Gabor Mate has a fascinating book called, "When the body says no." It was mind-blowing to me when I first read it. Time and time again, we seem to be finding more evidence regarding disease and stress, so I certainly don't think you're far off on that assumption. You can have peak physical health, but stress overshadows it all. The book changed my life, as I was told I had two autoimmune issues that would follow me my whole life. I haven't had them since. I learned over a matter of years how to express myself, learn about emotions (wasn't taught as a child), and how to not hold everything in. So many members of my family passed from cancer with this personality type... pretending that stress doesn't affect them, but they were instead holding it inside.

You did the things you were told by conventional medicine was the answer... Being a good steward of your body takes research combined with critical thinking and adjustments when new info arises.
You weren't given a brain for passivity. A steward is a caretaker. So, according to the Bible, you can be a good steward if you take care of whatever God has given you to care for. No where do I read abdicating personal responsibility and turning it over to God... a lie churches tell you. Read up on the things Berg is talking about...
I don't drink, smoke, take big pharma... all teachings from mom/church.
25 yrs, I was a mental health provider in prison... cortisol, adrenals, whole endocrine system...damaged. Toxic, negative corrupt environment.
So, I read endocrinology books re: symptoms, listen to videos, you name it... slow but steady progress... my thinking being my biggest issue.

Some people, regardless of age, need MORE alone time than they need social time to be mentally and emotionally healthy/strong/destressed/reinvigorated. I preferred living alone before I was was married and after I was divorced. While I enjoy "selective" social interactions, I don't feel any sense of loneliness or depression without them. Having the option is key for me. I'm very selective about who I spend my time with. When I can, I avoid being with people I don't need or want to be with. I'm a recluse by design; not necessity. I find less stress and more peace of mind in solitude than I do in most social situations. Family, loved ones and life-long friends are the people I genuinely want to be with. The rest I can take or leave.

Thank you Dr Berg! The cool things about all these 4 ways are every single thing is FEASIBLE!! It's all within our control and cheap, it all boils down to our will power, and it's not something extraordinary that only select few could do it.
    - healthy foods: reducing/cutting down expenses for bad foods and investing more on better quality foods
    - exercise: oh c'mon, just take a walk outside your flat. Even if you cant go out, there are walking videos for free on YT, 20-30mins/day
    - sleep: manageable for workers in normal hours. even if working shift hours, we can work with GP as to how manage this
    - loneliness: get out of your social media hooks and start talking to people offline. Your neighbours, coworkers, friends, customers, family members, etc.

    • @laura6344
      @laura6344 2 месяца назад +2

It depends what you need to talk about. If they intrude into your life (they give you unsolicited advice such as having children, what you do during the day, etc.), you have to listen to their complaints, they spy on your neighbors and talk behind your back, it's not very nice.

I think about my great grandparents and grandparents who had so much interaction with family, and friends and ate a large portion of their food from gardens. They mostly lived into their 90's and were very active. Their children and grandchildren who moved to more urban areas are aging faster than they did.

The elephant in the room that so few people understand is that we ALL get cancer multiple times a year, all of us, yes including YOU. Cells divide and there's an error in the coding and the new cell becomes cancerous. Luckily our bodies will often find and kill these cancerous cells as part of the normal immune system, but when the immune system fails or the cancer cluster grows faster than it is killed that is when the cluster of cells gets big enough to be called a tumour and felt/diagnosed.

In that video you made a shocking and complete 180 turn on your opinion on how autophagy now negatively effects cancer and how it can actually cause cancer to grow. This is very concerning because for years now you have been a strong advocate for fasting and autophagy and the positive benefits these bring in fighting cancer. Even interviewing several people who have used autophagy in their fight against cancer. Many people are very confused by your reversal and have been asking you to clarify you comments. Some of us in life have very few friends. Not really having many friends bothered me for a long time, but I would rather have a few good friends, than many superficial "friends" that only pretend to care about me when things are going good, or going their way. Good friends are the only real friends you can have, because they value things that are truly important in life.
Being alone or feeling like you have no friends can be scary, depressing, and can feel very painful at times, but it doesn't last forever. It is also a time in life to reevaluate what you have, where you are in life, and if something needs to change. It's a time to start being honest with yourself about everything and ask yourselves questions, the deeper questions, the ones you thought you already knew the answer to, or the ones that you never thought of before. Am I where I want to be? Am I doing what I feel like I'm called to do? Do I like things the way they are? What kind of friends do I have? What kind of friends do I want to have? The list goes on....if you're not where you want to be in life, what needs to change, or what steps need to be taken to move closer to where you should be. If you're not doing what you feel called to do, then what's holding you back, or what's keeping you from moving towards your calling. If you don't like how things are, what if anything can be done to improve things, or change your circumstances and surroundings. If you have friends, are they the kind of friends that improve the quality of life you have. If you don't have friends, what qualities make good friendships.
Being honest with yourself is important, even if you don't like the immediate answer. Being kind to yourself is also important; good things and positive change sometimes takes some time. There's an old saying "the darkest hour is just before the dawn;" life won't always be this hard, right now it only feels like it, and feelings are subjective, often according to whatever immediate issues you are dealing with.
Now I actually enjoy my alone time, I also enjoy spending some time with the people I call friends. The real key is to figure out a healthy balance in life, and that doesn't happen overnight.
God is able to keep you through this difficult time, and bring you to a place of inner peace and true happiness, with people in your life who encourage you, who are real friends.

Very useful. One more important thing is to restrict eating to the day time and not at night

I am surprised, when he talked about being sedentary he did not mention the lymphatic system. The lymphatic system is often ignored and plays a huge piece in wellness. It does not have a propulsion system outside of you moving your body.

Yes. Some of Dr Berg’s videos /articles on the lymphatic system, on the use of a trampoline, ect, address that.
