Well when he does lose in the game. It doesn't end in him actually being defeated. Either he just goes away because he had a forgot bargain day. Or it was all just a dream. So he health bar isn't really a health bar, it just shows how many hits he is allowed take before is considered the loser.
I think of it not so much like a damage bar, but more of a "will to fight" bar. You can beat the will to fight out of someone, or in Saitama's case I think of it more like it's how much patience he has left. If you don't interest him enough to throw a single punch, he just leaves.
One punch man should be a musou like dynasty warriors because opm isn’t meant for a vs fighting game I think it would really shine as a musou like fist of the North Star I would buy a opm game to beat thousands of enemies plus the roster would be quite nice with various abilities etc like in hnk some of the most op characters are backgrounds mob it’s hilarious

Games a 3v3 fighter, you can pick him for your team but it takes him about 4 and a half minutes to actually GET there. A match has a 5 minute time limit so, that'll give you some context on how long that is. You can shorten it by doing good defensive movies but the point is, you lose if you run out of characters before Saitama gets there, and thus you're at the disadvantage by only having two characters to use to begin with.

111 people forget that this guy supposed to be a parody joke character on the shounen series and seriously put him up against other people in fiction like a death battle like there's actually any sort of stakes. This character is effectively supposed to be somebody who is attained the highest upper echelon of power and this board because no one can beat him because he got so strong it's not fun anymore and he doesn't see a point to doing anything with that power except for tend to be a superhero because it kind of stays off boredom and he can live vicariously through all the people who actually are trying to become a stronger or have some level of power they can still attain so he lives vicariously through them. It's really more of a weird slice of life with some action. But some people love the animation so much that they forget that they're supposed to be watching a parody. Well it just annoys me when someone's sitting on the edge of their seat thinking man who's going to win Saitama or this other person and I'm like it's probably going to be Saitama because that's the point of the f****** show. And then you're like No there are some people who have been able to take some of his punches before and still live Yes but you missed the point entirely because there's always going to be a punch that he has that's stronger that can end them. If they weren't taken out by the multiple consecutive punch attack then he's just going to do serious consecutive punches or then he's going to do punch whirlwind or he's going to do serious punch or if serious punch doesn't get them he's going to do it looks like I have to try with this one serious punch but even when he's fighting garou as a universe destroying Omni martial artists who can shoot galaxies at people and can do any martial art that both has existed and hasn't existed later in the series the most that happens to him is his clothes get destroyed and he ends up winning just fine with nary a scratch. So people can have fun with the series and whatnot but stop trying to make it seem as though that he can actually fight people like there's actually some interesting stakes you can like the animation and the spectacle of the fight but stop acting like there's actually stakes. There's actually something at stake if there's something that both characters involved can lose and cytoma can't really lose anything other than his interest in the fight itself
You take that too far.. even if its a joke character let people have fun.. like making other character fight, doing some theory about "who win" or stuff like that. also it's not always a joke character.. look at garou fight
and why would it be when in the world of one punch man saitama is as tough. the game was made with that in mind. what isn't shown is people can play as other heroes. and their goal is to survive the fight long enough for Saitama with a countdown and video clips of him running, to show up and save the day

Saitama just has ridiculous amount of "Health" Points, when it gets to zero (happens only with second Saitama on opposite team only), he just remembers about bargain day, and casually leaves. And if you see a number under combo when saitama punches, it's "99999", this is how much damage he deals. With another Saitama fight turns somewhat normal, since both of them deal "normal" damage to each other. Simply speaking, Saitama is just too OP on purpose, and can only be countered by Saitama.
